My political orientation is "labour conservative" I feel that the economy should sustain workers and reward entrepreneurs. Class warfare is to me the bane of modern political ideology.
I have great respect for the American political system and love Israel without apology. I am against racism whether it is old fashioned Klan style or politically correct varieties such as Al Sharpton or Reverend Wright.
My musical tastes are very wide ranging. Lately I am listening to Italian pop from the 70's. Next week it might be Russian or East German rock or Don Williams.
I am too busy with my wife and kids to travel, so I watch foreign movies. Writing about what interests me is almost as basic a need to me as eating, drinking and sleeping. Rudistettner.com and Magdeburgerjoe.com are my signature blogs. I am strongly opinionated and out front about that. At the same time, research has shifted my opinion on issues. I do not like to be heavy handed, because the choice of news is itself a political statement.
