I have an IQ in the 98.6 percentile, have been unemployed from the Aero Space industry for slightly more than three years and counting. All savings exhausted and am now living with my parents, who just yesterday went through losing court eviction processes - who are now waiting for the Sheriff to come enforce. According to a previous tenant, evicted September 2010, who came as a witness to their proceedings, the court was packed with eviction cases (no tenants won), as opposed to a few when he went through his processes. Their 4 unit condo rental is systematically being emptied by landlord who staggeringly raised rents over the course of the last four years while ignoring all maintenance issues of all tenants.
A neighbor in the building received a lockout notice dated for 1/16/11. My friend living in a 2 bedroom apartment with 3 "once middle class" families on my street have a lockout notice for the same date. None of the tenants in these units have been able to locate new homes. Our local, state and federal governments have done nothing but aid people into homelessness.
