Well they are still bickering over who's going to do what and when it's going to happen this could mean some real bad things if it isn't done. At least that's what they are saying about the debt and there's a measure that is being looked at. It will be giving the president the ability to raise the ceiling on the debt without asking for it, something dealing with debt really stands out. You have to ask your self why they can't come to a agreement, say what you want but let's get this thing straighten out. It will be something the running for president in 2012, they will use this stuff against the president. A good thing is the president will be very favorable ,he found Osama Bin Laddin ,this will be good then, you have start brings the troops home that's a plus so what else do you think. Will keep him in office?What's the bottom line on the president staying in office? What about the others that will run against him, what do we know about them ? This will be world news cause this will completely be positive cause the relationship he has to other states will be the reason he stays in office. I don't think we want some one in office we don't know anything about, and can raise taxes ,and can tell us they aren't going to raise taxes and turn around and do it, when they get in office we don't need that either.

The Tea Party nutcases are willing to destroy the economy of the nation because they think that is the best way to insure that Obama doesn't get re-elected.

All but 13 Republicans have signed a stupid pledge that they would never raise taxes for any reason. Then they gave huge tax cuts to the rich, then 9/11 happened. Then they doubled the Military, but they refused to pay for it because of their dumb pledge, so they just put it on the credit card. Then they gave the drug companies a huge gift, put that on the credit card. Then more tax cuts & put that on the credit card.

They made all of these purchases, and then refused to pay for them. Now they are blaming the old and infirm and are willing to throw them out in the street rather than get the rich and the corporations to pay their fair share.

They claim they are only doing what the people want but 2/3rds of the people think the rich should pay more.

So now Republicans have walked out of talks because they refuse to budge a bit on taxes.

It is too late for any more agreements to be voted on because the CBO has to give estimates of costs before they can be voted on.

This entire fiasco is an artificial crisis the Republicans cooked up. They wanted to hold America hostage because it worked so well before. Now the uncertainty is going to ruin our credit rating so interest payments will go up which will cause an instant recession and maybe a depression.

All so Republicans can screw the middle class and the poor so the super rich which benefited most from the defense spending and tax cuts can swim in even more money.

They are not thinking. They are just plain nuts!

10 months ago: Charlie says, "I would agree with the Republicans that we should not increase any more taxes if it weren't for the fact that they are flaming hypocrites! They don't mind the common middle class American and the poor paying taxes out the wazoo! What they mean by no Tax increases is that they want their precious international corporations to conduct business here in this country at the expense of the common American.

To those thieving Anti-American Corporate Conservative hypocrites they want to bleed America dry and give nothing in return. So instead of no new taxes I say, 'Tax the crap out of those corporate money grubbers. Tax every millionaire and billionaire. Tax those corporations that use American resources and sell it over seas. Tax them all till we can squeeze at least as much out of them as they squeeze out of us.They are filthy Anti American Economic Terrorists'

Then After we have taxed them so hard that they can't see straight then we have to cut military spending by 75%. Instead of buying over priced military goods from private sellers (War is big business you know.) We should manufacture our own stuff. That is were the majority of the spending is going to. We also need to reduce our international efforts to observation only. To many countries are expecting us to get involved in their affairs only to spit on us when we do. This is also where we overspend on.

Finally, the last place we need to cut spending money on is Medicaid and social security. You would think that it is impossible but it is not. Money is pouring out of these to places like water because of corruption. Medicaid fraud accounts for more than 20% of Medicaid costs and Social Security fraud via the so called disabled accounts for more than 15% . Reform these three areas And TAX, TAX, TAX and in less than a few years we will have paid back the bulk of our debt. But we can't be wussies! Democrats need to smack the smug of those conservative faces by being firm and decisive something that this country hasn't seen a democrat do sins Bubba!"
