Owwwwwww!!!!! Help me up, I don't think I can move.
Sweet Jesus, what in the world was I thinking?

Oh, that hurts.
Is this some plot to maim innocent people? I am hurting in places I haven't even though about in years. Help me Lord.

Maybe I can just close my eyes and go to my happy place, then I can get through this set.........
nope, that's not working.

Criminy, I hope I can walk tomorrow.

Maybe the electricity will go out, so the TV won't work, and I can stop. Is that thunder I hear?
Nope, that's my heart. Let's check the pulse meter. Hmmm. 244 bpm.
I wonder if that's a good number.

Dear God in Heaven, this is insane.

!%*$#^&$##@$##%%

Ok, it's break time, whew!! He said take a break and drink some water. Thank you! Thank you!
.........What?..... Our thirty second break is up? Where does the time go?

At least we are probably almost done. Let's see, by the timer on the bottom of the screen it says.... holy moly, that can't be right. We've been going for 15 minutes, only 45 minutes left.

Ok, then. Time for drastic action. Figure out a back-up plan.

"Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name, please forgive me of all my sins and receive my spirit."

Ok, Day three done.

Got past the Back, arms and abs workout, got past the pliometrics workout, did the shoulders, chest and more abs.

Really worked up a good sweat, and a ravenous appetite. Arms and chest are hard as bricks, but legs have a long way to go. Still having trouble completing the whole abdominal session.

Had to talk myself into showering afterwards.

Finished days four and five, Yoga first, and Legs and back, with the dreaded abs mixed in. The yoga was great, loosened me up a lot and got rid of the residual soreness, plus helped with balance and breathing.
Legs and back was fun, if you like agonizing torture that lasts longer than the one hour workout.

Then, as if that weren't enough pain for one day, had to do the ab ripper following that.

Today is Kenpo, just punches and kicks, and I have a feeling I'll be envisioning the instructor while I jab, huff, kick, puff, roundhouse, puff, uppercut. Sunday is rest day, and then two more weeks of this routine.

Day 16

Been through the whole first week routine twice now, starting up on the third week. Lost 18 pounds so far, had to get a belt to hold my pants up. Starting to see the hint of abs through my stomach flab. After doing the same set that nearly crippled me two weeks ago, I'm thinking I must have skipped some of the routine, because it was so easy. Went for a 12 mile bike ride, followed by a twelve mile hike on Sunday afternoon, and it was a piece of cake.

18 months ago: No, hee hee. I have been wanting to do this for a while now, finally found a exercise partner that I figure will go the distance with me.
