Two guys fellow ex-druggies from the past sat across the room from each other... each now with a story of how God has visited them in their lowest time...
and how they have a better future, and so do those that live around them... now.
ONE of these guys is larger than life... and fresh from God... it was his turn to bring something to our meeting... and he brung it! He brought a message from TD Jakes that was so timely that I just wanted to give this guy a hug... God bless this guy! God bless him real good! IT is sooooo great to sit with guys that don't go to Church! NO hang-ups no pretentiousness, just pure in your face freedom to tell it like it is! I was blessed! SO much so I am compelled to let you all in on the message that we listened to.
TD Jakes is a great preacher, and a great servant of Jesus. This guy must have failed lots... because he is humble and strait-forward, no holds barred honest when it comes to telling it like it is! I must admit I am a bit "racist" ...I don't like white preachers near the way I love this guy! I should have been born black... then I wouldn't have wasted as many years outside of the counsel of God's Word. My prayer for you is that you are blessed and encouraged to never give up !:]
WE listened to the DVD that didn't have commercials or anything that interrupted the message... I hope that this is still an encouragement to you as it was for us.
