"The Irrational Atheist"

What the "heck" ...who let the dogs out? Or should I say apes!?! American Atheists are embarrassing themselves.... filing "a lawsuit protesting the inclusion of the World Trade Center Cross in the 9/11 memorial and museum... (claiming) that the presence of the cross is unconstitutional because it violates the separation of church and state..."
Oh baby, I mean crybaby! Whaaaaa! Seriously, "tolerance" you nonreligious bigots !:]

"The WTC cross was initially found amid the rubble in the immediate aftermath of the attacks -- two intersecting beams from one of the towers were found intact and unmanipulated, closely resembling the Christian crucifix. The cross was previously displayed at a church, but was moved to the 9/11 memorial on July 23."

These guys sure aren't acting very "Christ-like" ...but I guess that was the point. This is what being an Atheist is all about? Really? Help me out here... are all Atheists all this asinine? Well, that was rhetorical... but I happen to know that they are NOT! Many Atheists I know don't waste there time in "No-Pride" parades... sitting on the edge of their seats, waiting for the next public reference to Jesus Christ to protest.... no, they engage in healthy debates using all their gray cells, where they get to debate... ............................................ "nothing".

"The Irrational Atheist:
Dissecting the Unholy Trinity of Dawkins, Harris, and Hitchens by Vox Day
A perceptive examination of modern day atheism, this book challenges the argument that religion and reason are fundamentally at odds—a contention made by three prominent scholars on atheism: Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennett, and Sam Harris. While other religious apologetics have challenged atheism on theological or biblical grounds, this book fights fire with fire..." [ get free PDF e-book download !:]

...the New Atheists attempt to make a
positive case for something that goes well beyond not being some-
thing else. Not even the most ardent non-stamp collector is likely to
take much action involving his hobby of not collecting stamps..."

"The Irrational Atheist...
There is even evidence to suggest that in some cases, High Church
atheism may be little more than a mental disorder taking the form
of a literal autism. On one of the more popular atheist Internet sites,
the average self-reported result on an Asperger Quotient test was
27.9.21 The threshold for this syndrome, described as "autistic psy-
chopathy" by its discoverer, Dr. Hans Asperger, is 32, whereas the av-
erage normal individual scores 16.5. In light of Wolf's observations,
it is interesting to note that those diagnosed with Asperger's tend to
be male, intelligent, impaired in social interaction, and prone to nar-
row, intense interests."

10 months ago: The next thing you know, Atheists will be claiming they were born that way, and forcing clergy to do their weddings !:]

Talk about a pot calling a kettle black. Unlike others like to do to spiritual folks, I won't generalize. But many, many atheists are the most intolerant people on the planet. You would think coming from an irrational and illogical position as theirs they would at least make an attempt to accept or understand the beliefs of others. Not the case in far too many instances.

Many atheists are intolerant of religion in general and Christianity in particular.

Christaphobics are those who paint all Christians with the same brush, having slightly more tolerance for those Christian who they consider liberals. The liberals being those marginalize the importance of Genesis 1-11, water down the scriptures on the Judgement of the Wicked and gloss over and candy coat the sin issue.

Why not have the cross at the 911 site? It is a naturally (supernatural?) piece of wreckage that many folks identify with as showing that even in the midst of tragedy, God has not abandoned us.

Atheists not wanting that cross there know that their immature offense has absolutely nothing to do with "Separation of Church and State." It does however, have everything to do with the devil trying to take hope in God from the people by any means necessary.

No rational, tolerant, or peace loving person should have a problem with The 9-11 Cross.

If they do, that clearly shows a lot more about the condition and corruption of those individuals hearts than anything else.

The devil is a liar and his day is coming. His kids can expect the same reward.
10 months ago: Ok, I have had my fun, honestly the true arrogance of some Atheists is what I am referring to in my post. Those who call Christians "zombie" worshipers and mock our faith with a "flying spaghetti monster" ...and vehemently crusade against them saying that they are stupid for believing.

My problem is not with the agnostic, who simply doubts that there is a god, mine is with arrogant bigoted narrow-minded worshipers of Dawkins, that attack almost 90% of the population with their assertions, they have absolute knowledge to the contrary... in the name of science. Bottom line, science is observable. However to say that we only observe with our eyes or ears... is ridiculous. Case in point, I observed the wind today...how? ...feeling it on my skin.

Christians are not "arrogant" ...they have observed something in God, and continue to do so... at best one could accuse the religious of being 'deluded'... or that their experience is subjective... however real it is to them. Arrogance assumes that the experience is fake, wrong or stupid... on the bases merely because it is lacking in them... so it must be a rule. IF a Christian is vehement about his/her faith, it is merely because they have had an incredible experience with God, and would like to share it with others.

I for one, am "engaging" (to say the least) with those who call my faith a "fairy-tale" ...without so much as knowing the life-transforming experience that Jesus Christ has personally made. This "transformation" isn't merely a flash in the pan... no it has remained, constantly growing for almost 30 years! The question isn't "WHY" I gave my life to Jesus... it should be "why did I STAY" with Jesus for this long, after being "free-thinker" at the top of my immoral prime.

To the observing scientist, I say OBSERVE... if not in your life, the lives of those who know this God you don't... is 90% of the population who believe there is a God all deluded (as Dawkins assumes), or are they merely more perceptive?
