"Traitor" just came out on DVD (and Blu-Ray), and it is just plain awesome. It stars Don Cheadle and Guy Pearce, and even Jeff Daniels makes a significant appearance as a dramatic character. I think of the film as a combination between "Syriana" (George Clooney, Matt Damon) and "The Bourne Series" (Matt Damon). "Traitor" is so engrossing that it will make you laugh, tear up, cringe, get angry, curse under your breath, cheer, boo, smile, smirk, and frown. Its perfect drama runs the whole list of emotions.
I am not really able to go into specifics about the plot without giving too much information away. What you really need to know is that it has to do with terrorism, undercover agents, intelligence agencies, The Patriot Act, secrets, soldiers, fighting, double-crossing, triple-crossing, and The Middle East. It is action packed, extremely realistic, full of riveting drama, and one can never guess what will happen next. The movie has you gripping your seat with "what will happen next???" tension until the very last minute. Enjoy.
