The Illuminati and The Church

I know its been a while since I wrote an article here at R&R. I've been a little busy with life and living it, "one can sympathize." And on the course of my day to day adventures I've come across a lot of people talking about the "Illuminati" as if they knew what or who it was they were talking about, which I came to realize that most spoke fallaciously in respect to what they were told instead of knowing the truth for themselves, with interpretations of the deaf sign hand language for "I love you" being made by celebrities and even presidents of the U.S. as the sign of the Satanic goat beast associating that with the "Illuminati." This tact unfortunately is the source of power for commercialism, most established doctrine religions, governments and just about any falsely egoic organizations in general worldwide. So here I am going to shed a little "light" on the subject, hope you enjoy.

Illuminati means "people of the light" or "enlightened" in Latin. It all started as a group of people who back in the day when the Catholic Church was the governing power, had the gumption to shed "light" or point to the corruption and oppression of the Catholic Church as the governing power or government for that matter. Since many people back in those days (and even now) were so fanatical in their beliefs that whoever would associate any wrong doing or "evil" with their religion were considered "Devils" or "Satanist's". Hence the post-New Testament times association of the word "Lucifer"- latin for "bringer of light" in the English language as another name for Satan.

I am not big on the Bible per say but I found this to be interesting... In the New Testament the "adversary" has many names, but "Lucifer" is not among them. He is called "Satan" (Matt. 4:10; Mark 1:13, 4:15; Luke 10:18)

Remember there is only one source of evil in this world and that is human unconsciousness. Take responsibility for your actions by bringing consciousness to your thoughts which is the only thing you an really take responsibility for "your state of consciousness" thus bringing more peace and joy into this world.

You are correct that Lucifer is called Satan (accuser) in the New Testament
http://www.christiananswers.net/dictiona...

Also correct that Lucifer (shining one) is only in the Old Testament
http://www.christiananswers.net/dictiona...

...however the inference that because Lucifer's name may mean "bringer of light" in Latin, it doesn't suggest that we should seek the "light" from his countenance... and though the New Testament doesn't literally say Lucifer, it does refer to him accurately as the "Angel of light"...

"And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light"
(2 Corinthians 11:14)

...the context of the passage being that there are many false "Christians" in powerful organisations masquerading as real Christians, and that is a matter of history and our current situation. That is why we have works like the Bible to expose them...

"For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve." (2 Corinthians 11:13-15)

37 months ago: This is all good and antiquated for the times... redundant. You cannot reach the young and those aspiring for a new earth out of the hell we've created... But what is Christ to you T.Berry? And who is the Devil/ Satan, can you actually point it out? If you can't point it out directly now through your own words, "not in some book" then your beliefs (whether Christian or Muslim) or what you've studied won't matter because they will be directly produced by this "dark force" which turns all information into automatic and soulless redundancies keeping you from the light.

Lucifer is not a "he" that's false ... it is an actual word in latin. Its like calling the Devil "Light" and mistaken that word as the devil, which we know light is the very thing that makes things visible in real life. Enough with the excess bull**** and look rather see the corruption.

37 months ago: Soulreaver,

You make a solid point, I apologize. I guess I have been quite scrappy lately and I let it spill over to others without giving them the benefit of the doubt. SO, I will try and answer your two questions from my own understanding and experience.

Q1) who is the Devil/ Satan

A1) Regardless of what is taught about Devil/Satan... like Jesus I had to find out for myself. I believe in first-hand experience... if someone said something was "dangerous" I would find out for myself. And I did.

One day while I was alone walking out on a gravel country road, miles from town... come to think about it, it may have been at a literal cross-roads; I yelled out to God and Satan... "Whichever one who gives me what I want... can have me" ...honestly I was already mad at God, and my words were directed at Satan to prove himself. He did! Without getting into the details... after that I never lost a fight, or an opportunity with a woman... but in trade for my soul?

Q2) "what is Christ to you"

A2) Who Christ is to me is someone who has changed my life, bought me back from Satan. After I asked Christ to enter and change my life, He did. I felt the initial presence of acceptance, without any "bells or whistles" ...only the feeling of satisfaction and honesty that I had never before experienced. I had prayed before in my life, without much evidence that God had heard me... this time it was different, I prayed according to how the Bible directed... that made the difference. Furthermore, I was not "seeking" Jesus at the time, I only responded to because (being suicidal) I though I may never again have the chance to find out the truth... that is if Jesus could do what He promised. Don't get me wrong... I wasn't depressed, I really believed I had a full life, and just wanted to "check out" on my terms. All that to say Jesus Christ is someone who couldn't be more real... if I saw Him with my own eyes, that is the kind of difference He has made... and is still making in my life.

T.Berry you need to say "you loose," so you can tell yourself you won when in truth deep down in the heart of hearts you know better. The word "Piteous" comes to mind but that is not who you are... you're only defending some false representation of who you think you are. Maybe you feel you are nothing without fighting, which shows weakness of heart...

In any event look at my writing I only used two small references to point something out but "most of it" came from my own understanding as opposed to yours... where you spend most your writing quoting others... win or loose?Redundant. And notice how you failed to answer the most important questions in service to "salvation" or knowledge.

Only losers are afraid to loose.

Take good care, man. :)
37 months ago: Soulreaver,

You say... "Only losers are afraid to loose" good point. I choose to quote others (especially the Bible) so as to reveal sources of truth that may not have been considered before. Adding more information to an argument or debate, only makes all the players wiser. I will concede, saying "You loose" was a bit premature !:]

Religion, Politics and most established organizations use "fear" to keep people in-check so they can stay in power, otherwise they would turnout to be meaningless symbols without this constant automatic (fearful) contemplation (including the ideology of the Illuminati or Christianity)... For instance I can adopt the Illuminati or Christianity "ideology" and practice it religiously and work in the name of either one to the point of sacrificing peoples lives, all in the name of what I practice religiously to be the ultimate correct and the truthful one... this would be egoic.

This is the reason why the "powers that be" back in his day crucified J. Christ in the first place. He was ready to dissolve the ideology in any form be that religious (unseen-spiritual) or political (physical-power).

It's funny how the mind can manipulate and distort things for its own vanity. Take for example how Albert Einstein discovered the E=mc2 formula to create or generate enormous amount of energy from the smallest piece of matter (light) so there would be enough for the whole world. Then along came a young German student who proposed the idea of using such a formula to create a very powerful weapon. Einstein immediately turned around and ended the conversation... bear in mind that he was considered an atheist even though he would get mad and say "I am not an Atheist. People keep saying that." Hell even Jesus had his moment of doubt, but that's all it was... Doubt (fear-an illusion) ;)

37 months ago: Interesting post Soulreaver.

I think the idea is interesting. The Catholic Church certainly had a lot of corruption, and dealt in the harshest ways possible with dissenters.

I do not recognize most of what is found in the Bible because these same corrupt people burned all of the competing "sacred texts" including all of the Gnostic texts which had more of a Buddhist spiritual theme that believed every person could become children of god through enlightenment, and also anything that was written by or in favor of women.

The interpretation of the Illuminati as bringers of light or as the enlightened is similar to the Gnostics (from gnostikos, "learned", from Greek: γνῶσις gnōsis, knowledge)

I wonder about the symbol in your graphic however. I have noticed celebrities placing both hands to form a heart shape signifying that they loved whoever they were aiming it at, but I don't recall people forming a triangle shape.

The ASL sign for I Love You is a single hand that looks like the hook em horns. It is a combination of the letters I, L, and Y , on one hand. http://deafness.about.com/od/expressiona...

TB it is good that you are open about your past struggles and that you have found something to give your life meaning.

I wonder which you would find the most worthwhile. A person who lived a good, just, and kind, although non religious life, or one that sinned, found Jesus and reformed?

To me the former is superior but it seems that many "Born Again" prefer the latter condemning the nonreligious to hell because they haven't been baptised, especially if the former was good all of his life because he knew what was good and right without being coerced by the threat of hellfire.

37 months ago: The Symbol in the graphic I chose was created to look evil (not by me) for the same purpose, to deceive... But in truth the Rapper Jay-Z is known to put his hands together above him in the shape of a triangle as the same triangular symbol with the all seeing eye of God found in the back of a one dollar bill.

You see there are 3 points to a triangle. If you see from one of the bottom points you're limited to that one point depending on where you stand. But if you see from the top point (God's eye/ without judging or thoughts) you can see each point and how each one plays a part to make and see the bigger picture.

Jay-Z has never claimed to be apart of the Illuminati (he often laughs about it) and neither do I but, I do understand the wisdom and power of such symbols that can be used negatively to destroy as well as positively to create.

I find it interesting as well that most people that are fearful and don't like change cling to their old beliefs or judgments instead of using life as the opportunity to bring about the truth that most "Religions" point to create more beauty and peace in this world. I know it's not that easy... but "belief is the basis for the creative process. So to believe in God is to create God in our own image. That sounds redundant." Then again, who Am I. ;)

Thanks for reading.
36 months ago: Soulreaver,

Ours (as "born again" Christians) follow a faith that has changed our lives. We simply did not follow something that we chose among a smorg of beliefs that sounded good... rather God revealed Himself in our lives by the living person of Jesus Christ. Jesus never changed a Word of the Old Testament, rather He fulfilled the law, and did miracles to prove His authority... much like He still does today, by changing lives. If Jesus did not change my life... He would have been to me as another religion that I had tried.

To me the question should never be... "Why did you give your life to Jesus Christ?" ... because I tried everything I could out there. The question should be... "Why did you stay with Jesus for over twenty years!" NOW that is the question!

People follow beliefs... or non-beliefs for many reasons, but why do they stay with them? I tried all kinds of beliefs.... eastern spiritualism... and also as I previously alluded I followed the heart of Satanism in Thelmaism. IF Jesus wasn't real or made a real difference... why would I have stopped my immoral behavior? It wasn't' the treat of hell-fire... any way I was having a blast... drink what I wanted; sleep with whom I wanted; do any drugs I wanted; fight whom I wanted; talk how I wanted; and the list goes on... to give all that up to serve someone who didn't make a difference in my life? That doesn't make sense.

It also wasn't religion that persuaded me... I hated religion and still do.. so what was it that kept me serving... many times against my will for 20+ years?? Jesus Christ... and the life He gives me in trade for what I though was life. To serve Jesus... sets me free from my own selfish desires, and self destructive behavior. IF you have "created a god" in your image... you are truly hopeless. God has Created us in His Image... with an eternal purpose and hope... now that is potential and destiny... and aspiration beyond comprehension. A good thing He has provide for those who love Him!
36 months ago: Al,

You say... "these same corrupt people burned all of the competing "sacred texts" ...however the opposite is true, there are over 15000 early and late manuscripts of the Bible, that compare to each other except minor discrepancies... and they are the most damning to these false religions! The Bible exposes them and condemns them. I find those who know the least about the scriptures, and have not read their entirety in context, have the most to assume about them. Like them Al, you continually repeat the same mantra... so many times you actually believe this rewritten "history" to be true... for one who doesn't take to conspiracies you swallowed this one, hook line and sinker.

As to your query... "which you would find the most worthwhile. A person who lived a good, just, and kind, although non religious life, or one that sinned, found Jesus and reformed?" ...I truly believe it is better to be a "good" person and not ever having been corrupted by the evils of this world.

However, this question also shows your lack of understanding or bitterness as a "good"... like the "good" son in Jesus' parable of the Prodigal Son... he was envious, proud, and bitter... like most of those claiming to be better than those who have erred from the path of goodness, and then return humbly. You see, those who think they are "good" without Jesus... resent Him and His grace to the worthless "sinners" and never see their pride and hate as sin.

Another issue is this whole spending eternity with God. WHY? IF one hates God so much for His forgiveness of evil people... why should they care if they will not go to Heaven? One is not punished for not serving a tyrannical God... one simply gets their desire... "to be left the hell alone!" IF GOOD PEOPLE were truly good, they would be thankful to God for His Creation, mercy, generosity, His righteousness in judgement... and His unchanging word (not being wishy-washy) giving everyone a fair opportunity, or compensation for the lack of it.

What about todays definition of the Illuminati and Bilderberg. No?

Do you need links of statements that forecast todays economic situation well before it happened but posted just after a Bilderberg conference.

You want to question the release of inside information from the June 2011 conference and question it after it happens?

It says long term economic hardship and tax Increases.

What did they say in 2010, 2009 or 2008?

Did those predictions come true?

Sounds like the TEA Party need to hold tight and cause them to fall on to their knees begging not to be shot as traitors.

It is fairly predictable for those who have eyes. How can I put it simply....

In my heart I don't want anyone to get shot for whatever reason but it is fairly predictable in this uncivilized time that someone will.

But what is your role in these times, are you condoning this pattern or are you taking responsibility for your life and actions. (this is not a question, literally)

We can speculate all we want and "most fools need proof" but for those who have eyes to see the truth is quite relevant.

You may still continue playing the game by listening to the news, believing with absolution the "experts" and political figures what they say, pledging blind allegiance to any political party no matter how "independent" or new, they are still part of the same play -playing by the same rules... hoping to somehow make a positive difference. Naively the results will be relatively anticipated.

Yes, yes, yes... I accept the world as it is.
