The Rapture

The word Rapture is not mentioned in the Bible but the Webster dictionary describes it's meaning as
". Transport; ecstasy; violence of a pleasing passion; extreme joy or pleasure"

The Vine dictionary "an assembling together," is used in 2Th 2:1, of the rapture of the saints into the air to meet the Lord, "our gathering together;"

The rapture of the Church would occur as Jesus returns in the clouds, all Christians in their graves would be given new bodies and Christians alive on Earth will rise in the twinkle of an eye and meet Him in the air, and all that do not believe in Jesus will be left behind and will believe the lie that something other than the rapture of the Church has occurred.

At the time of this writing and without any known exceptions, born-again Biblical prophecy scholars the world over, beginning with Hal Lindsey, have been convinced by God's Word that the Rapture will come before the Antichrist is revealed and the Tribulation begins.

Most saints that get saved during the Tribulation can expect to be horribly persecuted, beaten, and then killed by being beheaded.

The Bible tells us to be ready, because Jesus is coming for His Church without spot or winkle.

This does not mean a specific church, but we who's name are written in the Lamb's book of Life.

1Corintiams 15:52-54: in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.
For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be
changed.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
But when this corruptible will have put on incorruption, and this mortal will have put
on immortality, then what is written will happen: "Death is swallowed up in victory."

1Thealonions 4:16-17: For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with God's trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first,
then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever.

Mathew 24:31: He will send out his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

Luke 21:26-26: People will faint with fear and apprehension because of the things that are to come on the world, for the powers of heaven will be shaken loose.

Then they will see 'the Son of Man coming in a cloud' with power and great glory.

"Now when these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads,
for your deliverance is near." (Expect to be transported into Heaven)

Revelation 3:10: Because you have kept my command to endure, I will also keep you safe from the time of trouble which is coming upon the world to test all the people on earth.

2 Thessalonians 1:10: When he comes on that Day to receive glory from all his people and honor from all who believe. You too will be among them, because you have believed the message that we told you.

Mathew 25:1-13: Then shall the kingdom of Heaven be likened to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
The foolish ones took their lamps, but took no oil with them.
But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes! Go out to meet him.
Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.
And the foolish said to the wise, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps have gone out.
But the wise answered, saying, No, lest there be not enough for us and you. But rather go to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.
And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came. And they who were ready went in with him to the marriage, and the door was shut.
Afterwards the other virgins came also, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
But he answered and said; truly I say to you, I do not know you.
Therefore watch, for you do not know either the day or the hour in which the Son of Man comes.

1Thessalonians 5:1-6: Now you do not need to have anything written to you about times and dates, brothers, for you yourselves know very well that the Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.
When people say, "There is peace and security," destruction will strike them as suddenly as labor pains come to a pregnant woman, and they will not be able to escape.
However, brothers, you are not in the darkness, in order that the day might surprise you like a thief.

For all of you are children of light and children of day. We do not belong to the night or to darkness.

Therefore, let us not fall asleep like others do, but let us stay awake and be sober.

If you believed in Post-Trib, then you would not be expecting Jesus at that time but the Anti-Christ.

Most saints that get saved during the Tribulation can expect to be horribly persecuted, beaten, and then killed by being beheaded.

The price of that persecution will be reaped one hundred fold in comparison to the riches in Heaven that awaits them.

As for Lindsay, here's Lindsay himself urging the US or Israel to bomb Iran back into the 1850's - maybe in his political advocacy, he's trying to make the prophecies come true eh?
