Apparently, this Elinor Burkett chap worked on "Music By Prudence(?)" and elbowed her way on stage even after a "cane-wielding mother" tried to block her! Yes. An old woman with a cane tried to stop Elinor Burkett. Oscars be dammed!
It seems that Elinor Burkett has some sort of legal battle going on with director Roger Ross Williams, and she took it upon herself to basically be a bit of a witch and snag the mic when the film got an Oscar.

The Elinor Burkett wiki page is blank, so I don't know much about the woman. I do know that she's being compared to Kanye West, who even President Obama called a jackass, so she's not exactly a saint. Too bad for her. She'll forever be defined by the Elinor Burkett Oscars clip.
