the head honcho of the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) is confirming that Obamacare "is expected to reduce the number of jobs in the labor market by an estimated 800,000".

Sorry Al, but Obamacare does not create jobs. That is a fantasy.

Thank goodness Obamacare at least allows healthcare costs to go down. Uh....er.....uh.... On the following website, http://spectator.org/archives/2010/08/18..., it is reported that Obamacare will "sharply increase health costs for families, business, and government."

Well, at least Sarah Palin's description of "death panels" are a fiction that will never appear. Er....uh..., on that same website, it appears Obamacare actually will bring about such "death panels".

Yea, but President Obama is a great President and all Tea Partiers are racist pigs. Hmm!

It is sort of odd that we did NOT have a Tea Party movement until AFTER a black man was elected President.

There were no people wearing colonial costumes at rallies carrying posters of George W. Bush with a Hitler moustache while Bush was busy running up the deficit by 1.3 trillion.

There were no cries of Bushcare Death Panels, even though Bush is responsible for thousands of our soldiers dieing in two unnecessary and uncalled for wars.

Why was that I wonder?

If Obama was an old white guy I don't think we would have a Tea Party. Sure maybe there would be some people upset about something, there always is, but not the organized widespread hatred we see for Obama.

I don't see ANY black people in the Tea Party, why is that? Are you saying black people are not upset with President Obama, because some are because they think he has not done more for them.

Bush started the war in Afghanistan looking for Osama bin Laden, but has yet to find him 10 years later. He continues to taunt the U.S. with his tapes he sends out from time to time.

Bush started the war in Iraq because he said they had Weapons Of Mass Destruction, yet none were ever found anywhere in Iraq. Even some cops carry "throw down" guns in case they shoot somebody unarmed, Bush could not scrape up some throw down WMD's to plant in Iraq?

The Neocons and the Bush Doctrine are what helped the terrorists. It gave them even more reason to hate the U.S. The FBI knew something was going on at Flight Schools in early 2001 but could not quite figure it all out. The warning signs were there but nobody was looking in the right place. 9/11 was allowed to happen in much the same way Pearl Harbor was. We knew something was coming, just not what, where or when, or maybe we did, who knows.

The odd thing that still bothers me is we just by chance got footage of both airplanes hitting the World Trade Center, yet all the cameras, both security and traffic around the Pentagon and all we've seen is a few seconds of a fireball, no airplane. The FBI took away all the footage from all those cameras and has kept it hidden from the world.

Of course if Bush had not stolen the 2000 election in the first place we would have had Al Gore for 8 years and none of this would have ever happened. Where is Doc and his Delorean when we need him?

I have learned from Al, and now you, that you know so much about things that just are not true.

The tea party was a reaction to a socialist's attempted destruction of our Constitution and representative republic. The color of his skin had nothing to do with it.

WMD are history. Forget that one. They found plenty of them Culley.

The reason the FBI and our intelligence screwed up and failed to prevent 911 is because of the Pervert President Clinton and his Gerrelic (sp?) doctrine that the FBI and CIA could not exchange intelligence. That too his history Culley.

You also need to understand it is fun for a conservative to see a liberal cry about Bush stealing the election. You need to move on from that one.

If you look at the entier interview you find out that the 1/2% jobs are because of all of the people who are now working at a job they hate, but they put up with that job because they provide health care. Once the affordable Care Act kicks in in 2014 a lot of people will switch jobs to ones they enjoy more because health care will no longer be an issue, but it probably won't result in overall losses because they won't quit those jobs till they have an alternate. http://mediamatters.org/research/2011021...

The other claim that the affordable care act will increase costs has also been debunked. The final costs are dependent on a lot of cost saving mechanisms but how well they work depends on how much the entire program is supported.

Since the Republicans are trying to hamper the law at every turn they will probably make it less efficient. For example if they cut the funding for the IRS so they can't hire enough workers it will result in billions of dollars in lost revenue. Each IRS worker brings in about 30 times his wages in additional revenue.

Like most of the short sighted policies of the right, eliminating investments in the future may save a penny but cost a dollar in the long run. They want us to eat our seed corn.

100,000 irs employees X 5,000,000 dollars = 500,000,000,000 dollars

500,000,000,000 dollars X 30 = 15,000,000,000,000

We just cut the deficit to zero! Yea! It only cost us half a trillion to make 15 trillion! That is a better return than playing Wall Street! Where can I buy some of that stock?
