Usually, I can’t be bothered to watch the Grammys, because they suck.

But let me tell you, you HAVE to watch the Pink Grammy Performance YouTube video. It’s embedded on the left. I mean, you have to watch unless you hate crazy Cirque de Soleil acrobatics, nearly nude bodysuits, or water spraying all over celebrities in formalwear. Yeah!

She starts off in a white hooded dress, walks down the catwalk like there’s nothing special going on, then dancers drop out of the sky like ninjas and strip off her shawl, revealing a white ribbon and flesh-colored spandex bodysuit. And don’t worry; the Pink Grammy performance video has a wet surprise at the end. Talk about some major “Glitter in the Air!”

In a nutshell, Pink’s 2010 Grammy performance video tops all the other Grammy performances (live or recorded) that I’ve ever seen. That girl has style.

I think that Pink Grammy performance video probably will open a lot of eyes and push her back into the public eye. She was beautiful, graceful, and flexible. I don’t even know how many hours she must have trained to sing those high notes while getting water poured over her, while being suspended 40 feet in the air.

If my description hasn’t made you click on the Pink Grammy performance video on the left, you’re missing out. Seriously.

24 months ago: Well now that they have pulled the video off the entire internet there will be a lot more people watching the Grammys out of curiosity. Do you spoze that was the intent?
24 months ago: (I have it.)

I showed my teenage son the video and he couldn't talk. He tried but couldn't. He just stuttered the first sounds of words and quit trying. I think it changed his life. :)

18 months ago: I get it. I just don't like it. Just my personal taste.

Too much that passes for entertainment these days is packaged. No need for talent. Just lip sync your way into stardom. No need to play an instrument, just can the music.

I think she is homely, boring and her performances lack intelligence and substance. Kind of like Madonna. Nothing of lasting value to be found there other than a money making machine.

18 months ago: Ok. But don't completely write her off. Someday go back and watch it. I know I couldn't sing like that, much less hanging upside down off the silks as they're called. She was extremely creative in her approach..she chose to do something different, and I commend her for that.

Most definitely, though, the world is full of many different kinds of music. I am a huge James Taylor fan and have been for over 40 yrs. So opening my eyes up to anything different is a challenge. Just didn't want you writing her off because you didn't think she was pretty enough. I think her inner depth is incredible.

18 months ago: She has an amazing voice and is incredibly talented. Oprah just had her on the show about this performance (pretty sure that's what it was, if she floated out above the crowd).

Her artistic journey is pretty incredible. She is her own woman and artist which is commendable. That, and she is one of the hottest singers around, sexy as can be.
