Super Stingray

An enormous stingray was recently caught off the coast of Thailand. The stingray is billed as the largest freshwater fish ever caught by rod and reel, and it weighs 772 pounds and measured seven feet long. It's tail alone measured 10 feet long, and had to be wrapped in a cloth towel so that biologists could tag the beast without becoming it's victim in the process. It took 13 people to lift the beast, and someone described it as being as "big as a garden shed." The stingray is a female, and I am sure I am not the first to report that this female may indeed be the stingray queen. Hopefully this beast will not become the "feast" coming to a Thailandic restaurant soon. And just when we thought it was safe to get back in the water, now this beast emerges...
