Sue Jin, her daughter in the middle, with the Gospels of John.
Saturday Feb 19.
Taking a walk around the lake at Green Timbers, Surrey, Sue Jin, her daughter and a friend was taking photos of each other, I offered to take photos of all three of them. They gladly accepted my offer and handed me two cameras.
After taking the photos I asked them where they were from, Sue Jin replied, Korea, knowing that a large percentage of Koreans are Christians, I inquired are you Christians? Catholic she answered.
I then asked if they knew why Jesus had to come into the world?
To save us from trouble, was the reply. That answer to my question meant that I needed to explain why.
I gave them my presentation on the Gospel:
" God created man and women for fellowship, he created them in His own image, and gave them FREE will and complete dominion of the Earth, he gave them only one commandment, "do not eat of the tree in the middle of the garden" they eat of the fruit and disobeyed God, and sinned, it was Satan that encouraged them and the dominion was passed from man to Satan.
Hell was created for Satan not for man, but when man sinned he fell out of fellowship with a Holy God, and so his destination was the same as Satan, God was alarmed at what had happened, and the only way that He could redeem man was to send his only Son to come the Earth in human form to die and suffer and take all of our sins on Himself and to be buried and then to be raised from the dead by the God the Holy Spirit. and who so ever would believe that Jesus was their Savior, in His name, would be redeemed and would regain his relationship with God and be Heaven bound.
In your Bible in Romans 10:9. It says that if you believe with all your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus was the Son of God you will be saved.
So I would like to ask you a question? Do you believe that Jesus was the Son of God? "Yes" they replied. I then prayed the sinner's pray with them having them repeat after me.
How did it all begin? I took their photo, I was friendly and Jovial, I asked them where they were from? Korea, was my opening.
I want to make it clear, that posting these Souls I have led to Jesus is not for my own recognition, but to show you how I led them, so that you can learn from them. It really took years for me to develop and perfect my technique.
Now I find that I have to develop a technique to convince churches to except me to recruit those who have a heart for Evangelism and train them, some are receptive and some are not. But none can deny that is what we are called to do, The Lord has a way in letting you know that you are called.
The pastor of a large church were I spoke said to me " I don't know anyone that is doing and being as effectively as what you are doing.
Another Pastor at a Bible study, who I gave about ten Gospels of John asked me last Friday night, How do you get people to be receptive to the Gospel. We have tried without success.
That is why it is important to get the commitments of potential evangelists and then have training workshops.
To be persuasive, you must make use of a number of different tactics. The more you can utilize in conjunction with each other, the more persuasive your argument will be. I will start by isolating and identifying each of the different techniques, and then we'll show how they can be used together in a single compelling argument. Body language is also important, I am always joking around, and confidant, being serious and up tight just does not cut it.
