Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz Calls For Boycott On Campaign Contributions... While Starbucks is Being Boycotted Over "Starbucks Quotes" more...
"Infuriated by what he described as irresponsible behavior, Howard Schultz is calling on his fellow CEOs -- and other would-be donors -- to boycott all campaign contributions to either party until the nation's elected leaders put aside their political posturing and find some common ground on long-term fiscal issues."

Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz knows how effective a "boycott" can be... because that is exactly what is happening to this coffee giant. Schultz is using his clout to get what he wants, but is it because he is feeling the pinch himself, after a Christian pastor is calling for a nationwide boycott of Starbucks for the company's support of same-sex marriage in Washington?
Politics is politics right? Or is only for big-money allowed to play the game... either way it is getting attention. Funny how it's bigger News if Starbucks Boycotts campaign contributions... than if someone Boycotts Starbucks Quotes! Here is a few StarbucksQuotes in question...
The Way I See It # 230 — "Heaven is totally overrated. It seems boring. Clouds, listening to people play the harp. It should be somewhere you can't wait to go, like a luxury hotel. Maybe blue skies and soft music were enough to keep people in line in the 17th century, but Heaven has to step it up a bit. They're basically getting by because they only have to be better than Hell" — Joel Stein, columnist for the Los Angeles Times.

The Way I See It # 43 — "My only regret about being gay is that I repressed it for so long. I surrendered my youth to the people I feared when I could have been out there loving someone. Don't make that mistake yourself. Life's too d*mn short." — Armistead Maupin, Homosexual Novelist
The Way I See It # 347 — "Why in moments of crisis do we ask God for strength and help? As cognitive beings, why would we ask something that may well be a figment of our imaginations for guidance? Why not search inside ourselves for the power to overcome? After all, we are strong enough to cause most of the catastrophes we need to endure." — Bill Schell, Starbucks customer from London, Ontario, Canada
"Java giant Starbucks finds itself entangled in yet another brewing controversy over its "The Way I See It" campaign. Starbucks has a history of placing liberal, pro-homosexual and anti-God statements submitted by customers, celebrities and other public figures on the side of its coffee cups for customers to contemplate while they wash down a muffin with a Frappe-Mocha-whatever."

Furthermore they aren't really Starbucks Quotes anyway... they are other individuals that are quoted by StarbucksQuotes! However I think that people have the right to boycott whatever, and whomever they want too... this too is the freedom we have and should have!
IT matters little whether it is for political, religious, or cultural reasons one supports one business, political party or church for that matter... it is their freedom to do so. The results will show public opinion on any given topic. I think it is funny however, that Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz is finding out an old principle first-hand...
"IF you live by the boycott, you may just die by the boycott!"
