Sony is going full steam ahead to take on its major rival apple and try and compete with the iphone.
Sony are going to launch a playstation on a mobil phone.
The electronics giant is being tipped to unveil the Playstation portable or PSP Smartphone in the new year.
This move would put the Japanese giant head to head and toe to toe against the American superpower that is Apple.
The Psp on its own hasnt been a great success but putting it on a mobile phone will give it a greater market.
The phone will look similar to the Psp games console and will allow people to watch movies,surf the net,play music,read e books and download games.
Leaked pictures of the phone show a control pad for playing games sliding out of the mobil phone handset.
This gives it a similar look to the Psp.
If Sony can nail this then they will be onto a winner and the amount of quality games would be in the thousands.
The Psp phone is expected to be launched in America in the spring.
I think this has got the potential to take on the iphone.
