Check out the video, on the left.
It shows exactly what Scientology is not.
The Cult Awareness Network (CAN) was founded in response to the Jonestown Massacre, the 1978 mass murder/suicide carried out by the People's Temple cult. CAN was intended to educate people about the dangers of cults.
Congressman Leo Ryan was murdered by the cultists. His daughter, Patricia Ryan, ran CAN for a while.
Until 1996, CAN used to be critical of Scientology, having, inexplicably regarded Scientology as a cult.
But, having been taken over by Scientologists after CAN's bankruptcy, CAN has now realized that Scientology is not a cult at all. This is because Scientology is nothing like the cults depicted in the video. There are no t-shirts like that in Scientology anymore, for one thing, though you might have seen Scientology film crews wearing shirts like that in the old days.
Each detail in Scientology that is different from the cults depicted in the attached video, prove that Scientology is not a cult.
Check it out. It is nothing like Scientology.
