Latvian 'Robin Hood' hacker leaks bank details to TV, source BBC News
Robin Hood is alive in well in this world. No longer is he hiding in the forests of Nottingham. He now rides the wires of the internet.
The people love him, the companies who have had their data hacked hate him. Robin Hood hacked through the wires, and has turned up some liars!
On Feb 10,2010, By Damien McGuinness, BBC News, Riga did an article : " Latvia economy reels in recession"
In the article it says:
"For the 2010 budget the Latvian parliament has passed tax increases and spending cuts of around 700m euros (£610m)."
"The International Monetary Fund is impressed with Latvia's fiscal toughness. In fact it was exactly these harsh measures which were the preconditions for the IMF-led loan rescue package of 7.5bn euros."
Robin Hood is sharing another story. Details of salary cuts not taken, state owned companies receiving bonuses from the government, pay details of bank managers that received bailouts.
The people of Latvia are suffering, unemployment is near 23%, many have lost businesses, lost jobs and more.
The tough measure that Latvia claims to have taken, seems to have only been at the cost of the people. Once again governments misleading their own people. Yes it is illegal what this modern day "Robin Hood" has done, I am sure if caught he will stand trial.
Yet what about the government, the bankers, the state owned companies, will they have to be accountable for what they have done? Will they stand trial?
