Music plays a huge part in culture, it is used for defining everything from pain to incredible joy... music can bring you down, and it can lift you to Heaven's very gate, such is the case of the singing of Rhema Marvanne.
I think that children have beautiful gifts, yet somehow they look to celebrities to model themselves after... when they are uniquely blessed. It is such a favor God, that He has bestowed on us this gift of innocence and purity... I believe that is why Jesus set a child in their midst, as the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.
"He took a little child whom he placed among them. Taking the child in his arms, he said to them, "Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me." I have 3 beautiful daughters, talented and smart... I love them dearly and would give my life easily for them, like other fathers would... yet for the most part they only want our time. As children are a blessing from the Lord, so are loving parents to a child... we need to find a way to bless our children, with love and security. These tender plants need tender care... children should be seen and not hurt.
These talented youth bring such an encouragement, yet sometimes at such a high cost to themselves, and many cannot survive the fame. Pray for these tender lives...
and for those many others who have lost their way.
