Today was a pretty scary day for those at the capitol. According to the Atlantic, a small aircraft was moving very close to restricted airspace at the capitol. This prompted government officials to raise the threat level from green to orange. They also locked down the capitol.
I would like to applaud our governmental officials' speedy response, they have seemed to have learned from their mistakes on 11 September 2001. According to the Atlantic it took about 3 minutes to get some F-15 fighters in the air to reroute the wandering aircraft. A speedy response, and a happy ending. Well Done!
