Tonight I took a little trip with a few friends to one of my favorite places: The Pagoda. The picture is one I took tonight. The Pagoda is this Japanese building that overlooks the city of Reading, in PA. Reading is about an hour from me (and Philadelphia), so it was a ton of gas, and a bit of a hike, but it was worth it.
The reason I am posting this is not to rub in my thriftiness in vacationing, or anything like it. I am bringing it up because we all need places to just unwind. Unfortunately the Pagoda is too far for me to go there on a regular basis, but driving out there gave me a ton of clarity and put some things in perspective. So I guess this is a rave for those who have a place to unwind and just think. If you are ever near Philadelphia, I'd weather the horrible neighborhood of Reading and go, it's breathtaking. The video is of it in the snow, it doesn't do it justice, but it gives you an idea.
