The thing I love about truth is that it withstands all the dirty dishwater that is thrown on it and at it by people that despise it because it doesn't fit they're agenda. It withstands the sweet little nothings whispered in our ears to get our votes yet turn out to be just that, nothing. Please take a minute to watch the video in this Rave and tell me if you do not see what was talked about then and what is happening now to be quite the truth. This Rave is about a man who was standing on the hilltop then and is still standing on the hill top trying to get America to wake up. If we were sinking then imagine what is happening now.

38 months ago: Yeah, it's too bad that Bush didn't listen to him. Since this video is at least three years old. You will also notice that the only candidate that's really ever been able to stand up on Health Care and keeps saying over and over and over and over like a broken record that we need to fix health care right now is Barack Obama. Maybe he's the only person who actually listened to David Walker. You will notice in the video around 5:20 that he says the biggest problem to the financial solvency is that the cost of health care keeps rising and rising and rising. Guess what? With a nationalize health care system that focuses on preventative medicine cost are as controlled as the salaries of public school teachers. Cost are controlled and the pointless drain on health care costs – every dollar spent in the operation of a health insurance company – is wiped out! Rather than complaining about AIG bonuses people ought to be outraged over the budgets of Health Insurance companies. Every dollar made by every employee, every dollar used on equipment, office space, paperwork, investigators, doctors they pay to review and deny claims, and so on, all gone. The savings in that part alone is astronomical, but more importantly is gone the concept that on aspirin should be billed at a rate of $8 to a health insurance company – because that's the minimum billing rate, and so on. If we've ever needed Nationalize Health Care more than now, I don't know when it was. But it is the only solution to this health care fiasco.

38 months ago: You have some very good points Coloranter and I agree completely that health care must be reformed. I have lived in and travel to eight different countries including Singapore and Canada both of which have nationalized health care. In Singapore the cost is kept down to some degree because the government rations out health care. It is not I need to get this operation done to help me feel better it is when the government decides the you can get it done if ever. In Canada I had a friend who was constantly sick from tonsil infections. It took almost two years of agony before he was able to get them removed. Nationalized health care will also bring the quality done as well so we should get ready for that. That being said, we are at the edge of a black hole here and strong measures must be taken for us to survive. Personally I don't see how borrowing trillions of dollars is going to get us out of the jam we are in from spending money we don't have. If it works though I will be very happy.
