Hello my people!
Just got back from the royal wedding, preforming my duties as the king of Amishkingland, rubbing elbows with the other heads of state.
Sorry that I have been away so long, but I have been basking in the glory that is my wife's pregnancy.
Yes, my wife is having a baby.
This has been a very long and emotional process, taking over a year now. Want to test the strength of your relationship? Deal with infertility. Want to appreciate what you already have in your life? Deal with infertility. Want to ponder your own mortality? Deal with infertility. Want to drag your heart through the wringer for a couple years? You guessed it, deal with not having a child. Better yet, do it as you are turning 40.
I now watch my wife start her journey into motherhood, and work every extra hour I can, start to get the house ready for the baby, and try to not neglect the teenage son I already have.
Easy, right? What else should a middle aged man be doing?
So, needless to say, I might not be posting as much as I want to, but I still read your articles, I still moderate, and I am still a member of this community.
I will keep you posted on how the mama's doing.
Besides, you guys got Coloranter Raver back, you are in good hands.
Peace,
Amishking
