Today Obama did something that made me smile, just a little bit, an online Town Hall meeting. Here's how it works, you submit your questions for him online (Cite 1). Then, we, the American people, vote on the questions we want to hear, and then he answers the most popular questions on live-streaming video online.

I really like this idea, I'm thinking some certain people should submit the Birth Certificate issue... That way he'll make them all look like morons :)

This is a great tool for the American people, the Joe the Plumbers out there, to participate in their government.

Maybe we should ask him why he doesn't RantRave?

34 months ago: I was just second away from posting about this! Thanks for beating me to it and saving me the time! I too am amazed by this opportunity. It's so great to finally have a president in office who gets the power of the Internet and the ability to interact with the real people in our country, listen to us. Now if only the GOP would listen in too. Maybe we could get our entire government working for us again rather than in opposition to us. But, instead, Eric Cantor, House Minority Whip now infamous for missing the President's Tuesday night speech favoring instead a Britney Spears concert, is probably at home watching his TiVoed episode of 90210 he missed Tuesday night as well.

34 months ago: There were 500 questions about the Birth Certificate issue submitted.

Zero ignored them all.

He still has not proven he is eligible to be President and remains an usurper. He will not answer the questions because it will reveal that indeed he is not eligible to be President and every law he signs would become unconstitutional immediately.

No birthing records for Stanley Ann Dunham, no Dr or hospital listed on the COLB (just as it would be if he were born overseas and had his birth registered in Hawaii within the first year - as Hawaiian law permitted).

Still registered as an Indonesian in school records. Indonesia did not allow dual citizenship. Even if Barack Hussein were born in the US he would lose his natural born status and never be able to regain it.

He also claims to have traveled to Pakistan in the early 1980's - when travel there was restricted for US citizens. He would have needed a foreign issued passport.

There is good reason Zero is spending millions to fight more than a dozen lawsuits challenging his eligibility.

He is not eligible to be President.

A birth certificate is still the issue??? I'm a natural born American citizen and I was 33 before I even had birth certificate with my name on it.

There are far more important questions. I for one, think it’s really commendable that our President is trying to fix the mess our economy is in, while still trying to be the first President in a long while, who has actually attempted to fulfill his campaign pledges...

I still worry though; will he REALLY stop and hear America AND aknowledge us if we say our needs/wants are not the same as they were even a few months ago or that our priorities have changed a bit? The town hall was great, hoever, I still kind of felt like a lot of the questions chosen, were ones that kept to the original agendas, from his campaign/admin.

A year ago when my husband and I were both well employed, my biggest wish/issue was that my children would be able to go to collage without incurring massive debt. And that everyone could have medical benifits at a fair price. I was even more than willing to see my own taxes raise a bit, if it meant that every one would have a better chance to medical and education…

Now I just want to feed my kids and pay my morgage.

However, at this point, I still feel, Pres. Obama,what ever his birth certificate status is, has the best chance at helping us get America get back on her feet...however to do so, I think he may have to accept that maybe Americas needs/priorities might CHANGE at times...

Well I tend to think that our President actually being ELIGIBLE to BE President IS an important issue.

Zero has not proven that. In fact - he is fighting lawsuits seeking that information and using hundreds of thousands of dollars to do so.

When McCain's eligibility was an issue, he brought his birth certificate, medical records and military records before Congress and announced 'if you need anything else, let me know'.

Barack Hussein was never verified as eligible. His Kenyan grandmother says he was born in Mombassa. There is no hospital or Dr listed on the COLB (which is NOT a BC). Barack Hussein is listed as an Indonesian citizen in school records. He is blocking all attempts to answer these questions.

His college transcripts are even sealed! What happened to transparency????

Zero traveled to Pakistan in the early 1980's when travel there was restricted for US citizens. He could not have traveled to Pakistan on a US passport. So which country did issue the passport he used to enter the country?

Just look at Indonesia. Zero has already agreed to a 'cash swap' with them - basically we are giving Indonesia a bunch of money so they remain silent on Obama's Indonesian citizenship.

America has been blackmailed.

Indonesia did not allow dual citizenship when Zero lived there - so he would have had to renounce his US citizenship and would never be able to regain natural born status.

Therefore it is clear the Barack Hussien does not meet the eligibility requirements to serve as President. Every action the 0bamonkey takes is illegal.

He should be tried and convicted for perpetrating this hoax on Americans and be put before a firing squad for this treason.

34 months ago: Capital G, your comments have been proved false time and again on this site. For example, your comments about travel to Pakistan are false. There was no such travel restriction. The hoax, I'm afraid is that dozens of apparently intelligent people have been conned into believing all this stuff that's quite simply factually inaccurate. The idea that he would have to be an Indonesian citizen to attend school is hilarious. I'm guessing you've never heard of foreign exchange students to the USA? I taught at private schools that hosted a least 1 every year and two boarding schools with over 50 foreign students in each. None had to surrender their home nation's citizenship to attend. This is just another in a series of the most idiotic comments ever to be made on the subject.

If you people's messiah, Colonel Rush Limbaugh, can find no proof of Obama's extra-continental birth place, there must not be one.

34 months ago: President Obama is DOING THINGS. Get used to it. He has powers, is making good decisions and is implementing good decisions. Things are happening.

America was built on certain ideas, not all of these are clearly stated in its founding documents. But decency, and recognition of the things we all prefer are part of it. Freedom is a large word, but covers these things. And President Obama is making it happen.

Therefore, let us expect beanbrains and shortnosed critics, like Coloranter Raver, to scream loud. Because he is going to continue to puts good sense and humane solutions into a complex, confusing world.

34 months ago: Terryeo, huh? What on earth are you talking about? Calling me a "beanbrain" and "shortnosed" what? You are one of the silliest comment writers I've ever read on RantRave.com. Give me a break. I'm one of the biggest and most ardent supporters of Barack Obama on this site. If you had the courtesy to actually read this line, you'd see that I was defending Obama against a group of people who come to this site for the sole purpose of suggesting he's not the legitimate president due to being born outside the USA. Next time you get off calling me names, maybe you should take some time to read before you put your foot in your mouth and offer up proof that you, actually, are the "beanbrain".

It is Capital G's posting that I replied to, and mistakenly used your editing identity, because I misread who had posted what. Sorry about that. I did make a reading mistake.
