The US housing market is crashing all around us, this market represents the most critical core of the US economic structure. If this housing core continues to destabilize and devalue at it's steadily quickening pace, dire consequences are in store for the US and its citizens. This important core is what affects, positively or negatively, among others, the accounts of the pseudo-wealthy who derive much of their income from real property including: sales, rentals and construction (and the businesses that support this economic arena). Without the population necessary to sustain these interests, the pseudo-wealthy loose the ability to generate revenues, consume their dwindling resources, and, will thusly lose the ability to replenish their wealth. When this occurs, because of congressional ineptness, these pseudo-elitists will finally know the hellish reality that the rest of America has been living the past four years and counting - that we are indeed in the midst of a deep recession. This particular group will finally see they've been duped by those whose **** they've been enviously and longingly staring up at on their halted climb up the wealth ladder, soon the view of those **** will grow smaller and smaller when they begin plummeting to the bottom rungs of the ladder past the rest of America they parasitically trounced upon. The only groups that will benefit greatly from this collapse are the Banking Industry, the Insurance Industry, large corporations and the upper class with vested interests in these corporations and industries. It could be argued that the Great Recession was intentionally caused to bring about this catastrophic economic collapse so that these micro Mega Money groups can finally dissect the US into their private territorial regions in order to own and run these newly acquired orders as they see fit, thus causing the death of democracy and the birth of autocracies in the Western Hemisphere. The potential for Royalism is not only alive and well, but gaining strength and momentum with each passing day that Obama and congress ignore the obvious and necessary courses of action that must transpire to stabilize America.

The housing core meltdown has been allowed to continue unchecked for so long because congress is ignorantly and collectively on their knees in the "teabag" position before their soon-to-be royal overlords. Apparently it's quite easy to overlook obvious obligations when on one's knees in service in Washington's Tea Room. Should the illustrious members with dirty knees of this Washington Tea Room ever decide to pay attention to their other constituents they would start thinking straight again and see that the Banking and Home Loans Industries have both duped Congress into allying with them - must be some mighty good tea. These industries both began with government backing and support. SInce their beginning with governmental support, and while in cahoots with the government, they came up with unrealistic "interest" to be charged on loans (in particular real estate loans), thereby legally demanding and causing the public to pay approximately 300% for these property loans. This Industry, along with their government allies, devised and control the farcical credit rating system that enslaves the American public. They came up with, and control, all the banking regulations making it impossible for an average individual to live or do business in the world without their meddlesome interference, and, they create, control and exact the penalties to be enforced. Just like the American legal system, the ones in power make the laws, enforce the laws and create fines and punishment for those laws - entirely too much power to wield, at whim and pleasure, over Americans lies with these groups. Lastly, the Banking Industry also duped congress into giving them 100's of billions of dollars in stimulus which never trickled down to help the flailing economy, rather, this stimulus was used to further line the pockets of the major players within their ranks. Didn't see that one coming.

The Insurance Industry was begun by those in congress and their cohorts in order to extort monthly monetary payments from Americans in the guise of a safety net for the average person to rely on in times of need. In many instances the industry has manipulated it so that it is legally mandatory to maintain their coverage. Let it be noted that health insurance will become mandatory in 2014 - thank Obama for this newest premium payment. Premium is a rather apt term for the excessive payments this industry legally extorts from citizens who can, and will be fined for not maintaining the hefty payoffs of these extortionists. This industry, with the help of their friends in government, just like the Banking Industry, initiated and control all their regulations and terms of payments, as well, they created, control, enforce and collect the penalties they bring to bear on the average citizen. It should also be noted that this Insurance Industry is vested in the government and "graciously" lends the US money with modest terms, i.e., treasury bonds to be paid back at a later date. The day will come when they'll want to call in their markers.

Large Corporations, their owners and upperclass stockholders, have never in the entirety of US history paid their fair share in taxes. There are some in the upperclass who think they pay too little in taxes, some even asked Obama to raise them - as yet, none have voluntarily cut a check to the IRS to rectify this gross injustice. Who knew? These corporations and their owners have continually duped the US government to allow this travesty to continue by citing all they have done for America and its citizens. I cite Janet Jackson's song, "What have you done for me lately"? Let's explore that. They've moved jobs to overseas markets, they've lowered wages, and, should you be fortunate enough to get hired by one of these corporations, immediately from the day you are hired they have their Human Resources gestapo look for, and collect any data to ignore you for promotions and raises, or to create legal reasoning to dismiss you. They've continually lowered the standard of living for Americans (especially over the last four years), they ostentatiously flaunt their wealth while treating Americans in suffrage, caused by the recession, like subservient serfs who should be grateful to be in their presence, or worse yet, the affluent treat the unemployed and underemployed like lazy, unskilled people who can only blame themselves for not prospering in this booming post-recession economy. Additionally, they control the media which refuses to report on the dilemma of the average American, or the plight they suffer because of this affluently greed-generated recession. The media they control continually reports fluff on a daily basis to provide subterfuge for their covertly ulterior motives and agenda... there has never been more censorship of news in America as has occurred over the last decade, not even during the Roswell incident. These corporations and their owners, like their pals in banking, recently duped the US government into giving them 100's of billions in stimulus money which has yet to benefit the bottom line of Americans or the country. Let us not forget the huge tax break for the wealthiest few that congress and Obama felt direly and urgently necessary to pass in December 2010, if I'm not mistaken, this is the only legislation to pass with lightening speed, and it was "supposedly" designed to have a jump-start effect on economic recovery. I'm assuming that intelligent Americans know the only thing the "Tax Break for the Wealthy" legislation accomplished was to remove even more taxable revenue from the already struggling and strapped US government. A government, I might add, that has never in its history got down on its knees to humbly ask these elitist and their corporations to pay their fair share in taxes while demanding the rest of Americans pay too much in taxes. Hmmmm, imagine that. Currently the upperclass pays "generously" at most 17% on the millions and billions they earn, their corporations pay less than that, if anything at all. The Average American on the other hand pays on the order of 35% or more on the few thousand they make per year. Can anyone else spell "disparity"? Does anyone else understand the concept of "justice"?

Members of this current congress, Obama and his administration must stop catering to the whims of these micro-groups who cannot see past their own greed to see how they have been devastating the economic conditions of America and her people. Our elected officials in Washington must get up from their knees in front of these lobbyists and, while covering their backsides, turn around to see how they have let America falter on their watch. If they finally do, their eyes would open for them to see and understand that real unemployment is near 25% without including the underemployed, not 9% as they try to sugarcoat and under report every month. If they don't come up from their knees, they will be solely responsible for the dissection of the US to the aforementioned groups because, even though the government has been in bed with, and played "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours", as well as given these groups 100's of billions in stimulus money, theses groups will, at some point, demand, all at once, to cash the checks owed them (and promised) by their bed pals, playmates, cronies and cohorts in government - please remember that congress is comprised of many "Good Ol' Boy" upperclass millionaires. When the day comes to cash these checks, the dissection begins... this is how you play the game Monopoly in the real word. Our forthright elected officials will be in place, and all to happy, to help these micro groups carve up America like a Thanksgiving turkey.

Every member of congress, Obama and his Administration are directly responsible for the ruined lives and families of the constituents they are in office to safeguard. Yet they refuse to hear the deafening cries and pleas that are growing in volume and numbers exponentially. They arrogantly turn blindly away as if theirs' is a group of self-anointed, more-worthy-than- thou sycophants whose place it is on their knees in front of the lobbyists facing them whom they service all too well. The stabilization of the United States of America should be paramount to pleasuring and kowtowing to the perverse greed of a few elitists. The US Real Estate core requires a healthy middle class infrastructure to be healthy itself. Therefore, the economic core-needs dictate that all unemployed must be immediately accounted and stabilized by continuing, uninterrupted UI Tier benefits to initiate real recovery, as well, concurrent priority must be given to stabilizing the underemployed and the Housing core simultaneously. Only then will the health of the US improve, strengthening private sector confidence which will finally spur rapid jobs creation. Congress is the primary continuing reason we still exist in a stagnant economy because they refuse to see how vital 99ers and all unemployed and underemployed are to the health of our country. Congress must make a priorities correction to address this gross negligence before thinking to continue on course with corporate, banking, lobbyist and elitist concerns and directives which, if continually left unchecked, can cause the imminent downfall of the USA. Our forefathers would be ashamed with the state of the nation and it's affairs that this administration and congress have done nothing to remedy, opting to be ignorant of the apparently obvious whilst servicing on their dirty knees before their overlords.

Do you think congress, Obama and his administration will get off their knees and finally support unemployed and underemployed Americans, or the Housing market? Or do you think they like it down on their knees oblivious to what's happening while their sucking it up? I don't know, maybe they like being impotent, because their inattention to the rest of America coupled with their passive flaccidness is firming and strengthening the smallest micro-groups at the very top of the wealth echelon. The US government, Obama and his administration have proven they will only aid and support US citizens only if they are already wealthy beyond needing help. For the sake of America, I hope they tire of the lip service they've been providing and realize it is unpalatable. I don't know about you, but it does nothing for me, I'm not feeling it. Obama, rise up, wipe your mouth and the dirt from your knees and, together with congress, get the US out of this mess, you fools weren't elected to office to "ho" for the rich!

They assumed that if the banks were swimming in money that they would do their jobs and lend money. Instead the banks invested all of that free money in more derivatives and hedge funds that made much more money.

When Obama got in he should have nationalized all of the failing banks and made their sole job, lending money to people who were loosing their homes, and lending to small business owners. This would have revitalized the entire economy.

Instead the Banks actually tightened all lending regulations making it almost impossible for regular people to refinance their homes or to start businesses.

Sure there are lots of houses out there for sale, but 1/3rd of the homes are bought by people with Cash and most auctions demand cash. Who has half a million dollars laying around? Only the rich and the real estate developers.

I agree that Obama should give up on trying to appease the Republicans. They only represent their rich and corporate sponsors and the people always get screwed by them.

81% of the people want taxes raised on the rich, 70% want Social Security and Medicare left alone. If Obama and the spineless Democrats started working for the people they would get a lot more support instead of trying to appease the Tea Party radicals.

The people love Medicare. Instead of killing Medicare like the Republicans are the Democrats should be expanding the program to include everyone.

Most of the people want us to end the wars, bring the troops home and cut the military to balance the budget.

Whenever you see polls that show low support for Obama, half of those disapproving think Obama went too far but the other half think he didn't go far enough.

Obama should, like FDR, use these populist positions to fight for the people.

". . . For twelve years this Nation was afflicted with hear-nothing, see-nothing, do-nothing Government. The Nation looked to Government but the Government looked away. Nine mocking years with the golden calf and three long years of the scourge! Nine crazy years at the ticker and three long years in the breadlines! Nine mad years of mirage and three long years of despair! Powerful influences strive today to restore that kind of government with its doctrine that that Government is best which is most indifferent.

For nearly four years you have had an Administration which instead of twirling its thumbs has rolled up its sleeves. We will keep our sleeves rolled up.

We had to struggle with the old enemies of peace‹business and financial monopoly, speculation, reckless banking, class antagonism, sectionalism, war profiteering.

They had begun to consider the Government of the United States as a mere appendage to their own affairs. We know now that Government by organized money is just as dangerous as Government by organized mob.

Never before in all our history have these forces been so united against one candidate as they stand today. They are unanimous in their hate for me, and I welcome their hatred.

I should like to have it said of my first Administration that in it the forces of selfishness and of lust for power met their match. I should like to have it said of my second Administration that in it these forces met their master. . ." FDR 1936

After all, America had become accustomed to easy credit financing, and bankruptcy only costs a couple hundred bucks. Remember, the housing market crisis was caused by all those folks that forgot to pay their mortgage.

The Central Bank, and the other power brokers took a lesson from Malcolm X, and through their convoluted manipulations of the government and quasi government financial institutions, have tightened their stranglehold. Through their seeming generosity, they have given the common man the rope with which to bind himself.

Revolution is based on land. Land is the basis of all independence. Land is the basis of freedom, justice, and equality.

12 months ago: I appreciate the sentiments Box and I concur with your point, however you are taking Malcolm X out of context.

Malcolm in that speech was speaking to the American Revolution. Specifically with regard to land leading to independence, freedom, justice and equality.

The Central Bank and Malcolm would not be on the same page.

Here are two of my favorites from Malcolm:

"The future belongs to those who prepare for it today."

"The Negro revolution is controlled by foxy white liberals, by the Government itself. But the Black Revolution is controlled only by God."

Our choices determine our tomorrows.

12 months ago: Huey, you misunderstood my point. Malcolm X also referenced the French Revolution, the Nigerian Revolution and several others I can't recall at the moment.

The reason I said the Central Bank took a lesson from Malcolm X is that they already knew this truth. They don't want the people to have land, because land IS independence. The only way they could make massive land grabs was to put it in the hands of those not likely to be able to pay for it. Easy financing has been the downfall of freedom. Now we have millions upon millions more people who don't own property. And we have the banks to thank for it.

I believe this plan was put into effect 30 years ago.
