Today, God shows us the way through the guidance of His Word and the illumination of the Holy Spirit (John 14:16-17). Yet we too can stubbornly ignore His step- by-step guidance. That’s why Hebrews says of those disbelieving Israelites, “Because of their unbelief they were not able to enter His rest” (3:19). Then the author draws a clear distinction: “They didn’t share the faith of those who listened to God. For only we who believe can enter His rest” (4:2-3).

Not finding the right train route is a mere inconvenience. Knowing our ultimate destination in life and yet refusing to follow it is a mistake with eternal consequences. The question to ask ourselves is this: Are we among those who believe?

You have heard this said, we are at 1 minute to 12 midnight.
The end of this age is near, how I know this? well every Bible prophecy has been fulfilled, the next one is not the second coming, but the snatching up of the Christians who have a personal relationship with the Lord.

Now is the time to set aside foolishness and seek the lord with all your strength.

We have started and are in full swing of a SOUL WINNING TRAINING ministry called "Break through the heavenlies" now about 30, the inner group is about 7, we only began about 3 month ago and expect substantial growth in 2010, about 20 souls a week are excepting the Free Gift of Salvation.
It has been prophesied that a revival is going to begin in BC. Not everyone that is led into the salvation pray is born again, but if you have a hunger for the things, and the Word of God, and the Spirit begins to convict you then you know that you are a new person in Christ Jesus.

Does this mean that Jews can't enter into God's rest unless they believe in your version of god?

Why would somebody want to believe in a god that needs people to be trained in the art of proselytizing on his behalf?

...It has been prophesied that a revival is going to begin in BC...

Does that include Vancouver Island and Victoria? My father moved up their after he remarried a Canadian nurse, and I'd like to make him aware of any supernatural religious events.

For we which have believed. Believers in Christ enter into rest; have the hope of the promised rest. To have the rest is conditioned upon a trusting faith.

If they shall enter into my rest. Rather, "They shall not, etc." See Revision. It is the same quotation that is found in Heb_3:11. The argument is that the Israelites were excluded from God's rest, and hence it follows that some others must enter in, since the rest has not been prepared in vain.
this is a rest differing from the seventh day’s rest, or Sabbath, which was the original type of Canaan, the blessings of the Gospel, and eternal glory; seeing God said, concerning the unbelieving Israelites in the wilderness, I have sworn in my wrath that they shall not enter into my rest, notwithstanding the works of creation were finished

Heb 4:1-10 is referring to the old testament.

As sure as Joshua, the great captain of the Jews, could not give them possession of Canaan because of their unbelief, notwithstanding his eminent valour and conduct

Heb 4:1-10
Here, I. The apostle declares that our privileges by Christ under the gospel are not only as great, but greater than those enjoyed under the Mosaic law. He specifies this, that we have a promise left us of entering into his rest; that is, of entering into a covenant-relation to Christ, and a state of communion with God through Christ, and of growing up therein, till we are made perfect in glory.

And the 4th Pentecostal Church of the Holy Book believes that all of You folk are doomed because you don't belong to their little sect! There are a thousand different little Christian sects, and each thinks that they are the one and only true religion.

You know if a religion was half worth it's beans folk would join because of the life philosophy not because they are coerced or threatened with damnation.

In my opinion that was what Jesus intended and what his followers practiced for the 1st 300 years before the whole thing got institutionalized. If you are good you shouldn't have to worry about rewards or punishments.

25 months ago: The only true Christian, is one who believes that the Holy Bible is the Word of God. I will be sharing some of it's history. I don't blame you it could be confusing.
