Now, it really, really, really is Bush's fault.

Two weeks before His Majesty Hussein Obama's Emasculation as the Pre-Eminent Ruler of the free world, President George Bush really, really screwed things up for the new President Obama.

On the following website:

http://nation.foxnews.com/solyndra/2011/...

it is reported that on the eve of a new era of global kumbaya, President Bush denied Solyndra's application for a box of money for their company.

President Bush and all his corporate evilnaysayernarethewells decided giving Solyndra a bunch of tax payer money was too risky and a very poor investment of government...er...uh... taxpayer money.

"It's very difficult to perceive a company with a model that says, well, I can build something for six dollars and sell it for three dollars," Lynch said. "Those numbers don't generally work. You don't want to lose three dollars for every unit you make."

Boy Howdie. I wonder what Obama saw that Bush did not see.

8 months ago: Oh man... Of course it's Bush's fault. What in the world made him and his administration document the rejection of the Solyndra's application? That's not fair play!
8 months ago: Lest we forget it was Bush's fault the DNC money and Union machine lost the NY 9 because of crossover Democrats. It is going to get better. I can't wait to see them spend all of those dollars on a wasted venture. Maybe the DNC can claim bankruptcy and get out of it's lies and obligations.

No Tea Party? Right.

Obama is messing his breeches with liquid right about now.
8 months ago: Ohh, that is rich RSG. But you know, if only everyone would just get on board and buy into everything our big brother government tells us to buy like nice little socialist robots; Solyndra would still be in business. Hmm I guess we are just too attached to that lil ol thing called "freedom".

Great post RSG.

8 months ago: I hate to break it to you: President Bush didn't deny or approve anything in the way of loans as it is not his authority to do so. Much like President Obama didn't approve or deny the loan either. These loans were approved/denied by the Department of Energy.

Either way, it was absolutely idiotic to give them any money, as the designers working for them admitted many times before the loan that a Chinese company had developed more efficient technology and could produce it a a much lower cost.
8 months ago: One thing that really concerns me is that the Chinese not only have lower cost of manufacturing, we are all used to that, but the fact that they now seem to have better scientists, research and development. This is not good!

Solar energy would go a long way to help them alleviate some of the air pollution issues. It's not really a surprise to me that Chinese engineers and scientists are coming up with better solutions than we are...they have been testing/producing better as engineers and scientists than we have for nearly a decade (maybe even more); and if you really want to be depressed about it look at how much further along Japan and Singapore are than us on the technologies fronts.
8 months ago: When I want to be depressed I read http://www3.weforum.org/docs/WEF_GCR_Rep...

US is at 36th place with the quality or its Institutions, 16th with Infrastructure, 42nd with Health and Primary education...

Sad picture indeed...
