Ok it is no where near Halloween so this rave might seem out of place, but I sing Christmas songs in July so this should not seem so weird coming from me. My 20th birthday just past and for this annual event I got three cd’s (which for anyone who is curious are : The essential Michael Jackson, lady gaga “The Fane”, and Nightmare revisited.) I love all of them but my utmost favorite is the third soundtrack of The Nightmare Before Christmas. It is an amazing soundtrack. I listen to it almost religiously everyday.
It is a remake of all the songs that were on the awesome clay-mation movie by the very awesome Tim Burton. The remake was sung by modern rock stars and beats retooled by techno dj’s (ok I admit those who do not like this kind of music may not find this cd as amazing as I do…but whatever.) All these songs are remarkably done and I think the producers did a spectacular job in finding the right people to create the right sound for the tracks.
For anyone who loves The Nightmare Before Christmas and like ridiculous (in a good way) techno rock mixes then this is the soundtrack for you! Look at the you tube video it is my favorite song Kidnap the Sandy Claws! from the soundtrack. Here are the lyrics so you can sing along.
