Hello peoples felix havs come back to rite some post in english for you.

Usa space program,Where is it?

Has anyones seen it?.

I havent.

Does Nasa still have people working for it.

Does it exist.

It does not do anything anymore.

Was it all a big hoax to lie to american peoples that america is a super power.
I think it was all propoganda by the usa government that controls its people with such an iron fist.

In my glorious china we have a strong space program that i am sure will let you have the occasional spare seat as you are so poor now.

I think in a couple of years the usa dollar will be no more and you will all be spending chinese yuans because of your over indulgance.
My great leader has been in england this week agreeing to bail out the eurozone so i am sure america and england will be next.
The peoples democratic republic of china is a thriving country that live by good rule and not have bad women or drug.
You look at chinese peoples who lives near you, they will not be poor, they will works hard and they will have family values and not over indulge.
America you have lost your way but a real super power is ready to take your place.
England and america need china to give money but please do not beg

China plans based on what is best for the country 50 years from now. America just looks for the next election.

While we are still the worlds most powerful economy China will likely overtake America within the next 20 years because China's economy has been growing at 10% for the last 30 years while we are growing at an anemic 2%.

China is wise enough to invest in the future and is heavily subsidizing all renewable energies so they will corner the market in the energy of the future. America is not willing to invest in the future and is going backward cutting vital educational and infrastructure spending.

I do not worry too much about NASA as far as the need to go to the moon or anything, because private companies will take the billionaires up into space if they pay enough. What I worry about is that NASA provided much of the research and development that provided the innovation that allowed us to prosper even though China was taking over our manufacturing base. Now we are no longer leading in innovation because our research has dried up, and our education system is suffering.

If we are to increase the growth of our economy we must make massive investments, and we can't do that because the rich and the corporations are not willing to pay their fair share.

Ahhhhhh Mr Clinton,
Was that the president with a liking for little black dresses and perhap had a few indiscretions in his time.
I thinks he was the weak willed one who couldnt say no to pretty much anything.

AL, There needs to be major happenings in your education system,But you have no strong leader to push the right things through.
In the western world there only seems to be lady who trying to go for presidents.
This will never make you strong force like the democratic country that is china.

Dwayne, Only western man would think such naughty things about a picture.
How does american peoples feel about having a nasa that does nothing.

NASA Experiment
A blond, a brunette, and a redhead were trying out for a new NASA experiment on sending women to different planets. First, they called the brunette in and asked her a question.
"If you could go to any planet, what planet would you want to go to and why?"
After pondering the question she answered, "I would like to go to Mars because it seems so interesting with all the recent news about possible extra terrestrial life on the planet."
They said "well okay, thank you." And told her that they would get back to her.
Next, the redhead entered the room and the NASA people asked her the same question. In reply, "I would like to go to Saturn to see all of its rings." Again, "thank you" and they would get back to her.
Finally, the blond entered the room and they asked her the same question they asked the brunette and the redhead. She thought for a while and replied, "I would like to go to the sun."
The people from NASA replied, "why, don't you know that if you went to the sun you would burn to death?"
The blond smirked and put her hands on her hips. "Are you guys dumb? I'd go at night!"

When NASA first started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered that ballpoint pens would not work in zero gravity. To combat the problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 billion to develop a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside down, underwater, on almost any surface including glass and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to 300 C.

The Chinese used a pencil.
Maybe they use and waste too much monies that why they cut back.

22 months ago: Maybe that's why it took China 40 more years and thousands of stolen technologies to get a man into space. Why didn't they just steal the ball point pen too? That saves a ton of money, I'm sure. All they had to do was finance the election campaigns of two Clintons.

But I guess being the third country to independently put a man into space, behind the USSR and the USA, no matter how it was done, is better than other countries, say, France or the UK.

China never steal anything sometime we borrow without other peoples knowing but we make right in the end.
I think the state nasa is in is a shame as peoples around the world have looked up to nasa for what they have done.
To even come back after the tragic events where astronauts were killed in the shuttle was good but to then retire everyone is bad for your whole country.
In england a university near where i live had a press conference 2 years ago as they sent a probe upto mars, they had lots of press gathered and pressd the switch to recieve pictures from the onboard camera's.
Alas nothing happened and the head scientist stood up and said we have lost the probe. We dont know where it is as its in a rather large area.
This mans was paid lots of money to tell everyone that space is large.
Now i start thinking space is large but how large is it.
Can yu measure how bigs it is.
If its getting bigger something must be getting smaller surely.

16 months ago: Facilities used by space shuttle will be "re-purposed" (reutilized) for other uses -- just as they were when originally built for the Apollo program were re-purposed for the space shuttle program.

For instance, Boeing has signed a contract to re-purpose one of the three Orbiter Processing Facilities (OPFs), located next to the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) for the construction and test of the Orion multi-purpose crew vehicle (MPCV). The other two OPFs are current in use, storing the decommissioneg space shuttle orbiters until they can be sent to the museums for public display.

Once those OPFs are vacated, they'll be offered up for use by NASA for other aerospace companies to use. (Lockheed Martin, SpaceX, etc.)

Launch Complex 39A and 39B are having all shuttle support equipment (Launch Tower gantry, Rolling Service Structure, etc.) removed, thereby clearing the way -- and providing a "clean slate" for the sites to be used again for a new mobile and/or universal launch platform. One was built for the now cancelled Constellation program's Ares 1 vehicle. It will most likely be taken over by the proposed Liberty Launch System vehicle, which is a partnership comprised of ATK (formerly Morton Thiokol), EADS and Astrium.

BTW -- The Liberty looks very similar to Ares 1. It utilizes a four-or five-segment solid rocket booster with the central core of an Ariane 5 fitted atop as an upper stage. The proposed vehicle could be used to launch the Orion MPCV, Blue Origin's NewShepard or even SpaceX's Dragon should they encounter any setbacks with their Falcon 9 launch vehicle.

22 months ago: NASA has been directed by Congress to develop a capsule, the Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle for possible future flights.

Cancelling shuttle should help ease some of the pressure NASA is facing — primarily from Republican members of Congress — to curb spending. The move frees up billions of dollars that NASA will use, among other things, to develop new technology and stimulate the private aerospace industry.

For example, NASA researchers are building an inflatable heat shield to help land bigger payloads on places such as Mars. The device could be incorporated into future spaceships, said Amanda Cutright, a 29-year-old Langley engineer working on the project.

Also, NASA will invest hundreds of millions of dollars in the private sector, igniting a race among commercial companies to taxi astronauts to the space station. NASA hopes they will be ready to fly by 2015.

Despite the uncertainties, Simon sees a bright future in his nascent NASA career — one that could lead to places far and wide.

"Going to Mars is as sexy, if not sexier, than going to the moon," he said.
