Ok ya’ll this is my bucket list…so far anyway (Its not like I am going to die or anything) just want to write down the things I want to do before I die.
1. Go to Japan: This is my top because I love Japan…blame the anime…. I love the culture, and the food (well…some of it, I’m not really fond of the squid ink…never tasted it but I don’t think I would be able to stop comparing it to pen ink.) and of course I love the music (all of it even the rappers, they are very amusing) I always wanted to try a tea ceremony but I will have to have a kimono… and someone to help me put it on (because I am not that coordinated)…I also want to buy manga lots and lots of manga (its kind of my obsession…) Ooo! Ooo! and submit my drawings…yep I think that’s it for Japan…no wait also get gummy candies (the concord grape kind, the kiwi, and the banana!
2. Meet Stan Lee: Yep that very same Stan Lee, the creator of all my favorite Marvel characters the X-men, Spiderman, Spawn, and so many others. (Hopefully this meeting happens before he dies…or he is like made immortal by the comic gods. So that all the geeky people like me can meet his awesomeness!!!) Oh geez so many questions I have for that guy! Like was he a part of the story line where Spiderman got a clone that named it self the scarlet spider…or when Jean grey went nuts and gained the alternate personality named phoenix? Ok I know he had to have some part of it but I have some plot issues (sorry non-comic book people … some of you probably have no idea what I am talking about.)
3. Figure out my Ancestry: Ok I don’t mean like specific people….like who was my mother’s brother’s cousin thirteen times removed by marriage…no just the race part. Because I am mixed and I often get the question “what are you?” (like I am a different species or something…but that is a rant for another time and this is a rave, so happy thoughts.) I know a few of my racial background possibilities I know the most obvious ones ( like my parents, grandparents., and even my great grandparents) …obviously. But I am talking about like all the people that contribute to my genetics so that I can officially say to anyone one I meet (that asks me that question) or to where ever I go to; hey part of my family is from there. Like officially (which probably won’t happen with out a geneticist ) But, I have like a map in my head with little mental markers on the continents my genetics have a part of. It goes like this America: 3 or 4 different places, South America and out lying islands: 4 , Africa: 1 or 2, Europe: 3 , Asia: 1 maybe. So out of the big places all I am missing is the middle east and Australia (I know that the middle east is not continent but still…) Its just for my mental records really (and for those few that ask that dreaded question.) I am just OCD like that I guess (another rant for another time.) Because If my little map is incomplete just because I don’t know…its just as bad as like forgetting something you just remember (which is really bad for me at least because I dwell on things unless I focus something completely different but then I forget)
4. Finish writing one of my many novels: Because I start writing a lot of novels usually immediately after one another (a day maybe even hours after each other.) only because I can’t focus on one thing at a time. ( I get bored easily) So I write more than one at a time. But I am terrible at finishing things as well. So before I die I would like to finish at least one ( I want to finish all of them ) of my many already started novels.
5. Learn HTML, CSS, BB Code: Ok this is the last of the top five, and this is just for my mental library (its not like I am going to use it in a job.. I might but probably not.) really, I am just tired of having a profile I don’t know how to edit with out the awesome and convenient little wizards they have on most sites.
