WHEN LAST DID YOU GO TO LONDON...or have you not been yet?
London has long been my favourite city. It is one of those busy cities with so
much to take in and experience. The Underground is fascinating (if they do
not decide to do maintenance on the sundays or bank holidays..for the weary
tourist, it can be a nightmare going around in circles underground. Not really,
the hussle and bustle and pushing makes for every street where you can't help
but look up to take in everything that is going on. But no, you can't take it all
in because like most cities, visitors are just nudged along.
The most famous landmarks are within walking distance. The centre has all
need for entertainment. The theatres and the museums. The walk along the
embankment to the London eye. The waxworks. The Tower of London and
so much more. When I have the time I will elaborate more on this magical
city. But you can gather all the information you need from the internet.
So, this is more a prompt rather than a invitation. Check out flights from
where you are to HEATHROW AIRPORT. GATWICK, and from Europe, there
are budget flights offered from Ryanair, Air-Berlin, to LONDON Stansted,
a train from Stansted terminals will take you swiftly 30 mins into London.
Flights at present are about 30 euro return. You only need to purchase one
ticket on the underground to last you several days. Get on get off.
Accomodation is all too available and within walking distance of central
London. Hotels and B&Bs. Look up for the London tourist board for the city
and they will send you a pack to include. TRAVEL AGENTS. HOTELS. B&Bs,
THEATRES, GIGS, CONCERTS, RIVER CRUISES, THE LONDON EYE, MARKETS,
EXCURSIONS, SIGHTSEEING BUS, etc etc etc. Check out a few things now,
to give you an idea....maybe London will be seeing you all in the not too
distant future?
