Congrats to Spain for (finally) winning the World Cup.
Boring game, but then, it IS soccer, after all.
But the Spanish "futbollers" aren't the only world-class
sporting world members from the land of Picasso and
the Running of the Bulls, etc.
There's recent Formula One champ, Fernando Alonso.
Also re.: motorsports, sure-bet to become this year's
Moto GP numero uno is Jorge Lorenzo. (who would be
a contendor even IF Valentino Rossi was campaigning)
Then, there's the Gasol brothers in the NBA.
