Happy Thanksgiving To all the Ranters and Ravers Out There.

I want to wish everyone here a healthy and a Happy Thanksgiving.

If we think hard enough everyone here has something to be thankful for. Times may be difficult, money may be short but we are all still here. As rough as it is, this world has plenty for us to enjoy and be thankful about.

It's easy to feel thankful when things go well and life just hands you blessing after blessing. The hard part is maintaining an attitude of gratefulness when the wheel falls off the wagon. That is when we see what we are made of, where are hearts truly are, and what is really important to us.

There are many times when we have perfect opportunities to be depressed and feel overwhelmed. Don't fall into that trap. We have to determine see the Light no matter what life hands us.

Be thankful for what you have and you'll end up enjoying it more. If you focus on what you don't have, you will never be satisfied. That's no way to live.

Happy Thanksgiving and God bless you all!

Huey

18 months ago: Well stated Huey. Our family will be missing one member this Thanksgiving.
Yet, as we look back it will be on the good times and not the bad. As we look forward it will be on the time we will be rejoined. As we look up it will be to rejoice in knowing all are welcome in the House of the Lord.

Remember the bounties of life on this day.
