I wanted to share how that I learned a tremendous deal from Jermaine Griggs' Gospel Keys 202. This is a DVD tutorial course for piano or keyboard players wishing to learn to play worship songs and chords.
Surely you may already know how to play "Thank You Lord", "As the Deer", or "Hallelujah", but can you play it with full, two-handed chords with that somewhat jazzy flavor? I chose this chords that I might spruce up my existing way of playing and I am glad I did!
With Gospel Keys 202 you get nearly five hours of instruction on four disc. Three disc are instructional and one is a 30 minute interview with Jermaine Griggs. You get ear training, learn how to couple chords together, learn how to transition in worship, and more importantly you can rewind and watch it over and over again. I really like the explicit style of teacher Jermaine offers with great camera shots of the keyboard.
I am not a professional, but I have played a number of years. This course does not require you be a minister of music or church musician, but you should have some basic knowledge of the keyboard or piano. If you are a beginner and want to yet learn worship chords, I suggest
