I was listening to talk radio this evening and the host announced a deliciously ironic story that can be found on FoxNation.com It's titled, "Global Warming Activist Freezes to Death in Antarctica." The FoxNation article cites an article on the ecoEnqurier as it's source:

FoxNation Article: http://tinyurl.com/yzq52qp

http://www.ecoenquirer.com/south-pole-tr...

In reading the article though, my hoax meter flag rose to full staff but plenty of people are buying into it, especially the gullible neoconservatives who feed at the Fox trough - some of their comments are rib tickling funny. The picture I attached will give you a clue on why in part this story is a likely hoax.

Hoax or not, the failure of Scientists to take command of the Global Warming debate and hide information or engage in outright disinformation has resulted in the unqualified hoi polloi on all sides of the political spectrum deciding the issue pro or con based on every conceivable logical fallacy.

So Rant Ravers, hoax or truth?

26 months ago: It is probably a hoax that undoubtedly terrified the wives of few global warming activists.

As to global warming that is definitely a hoax. It has been proven by the lack of solid unbiased data has it not?

What tipped me off, other than the source at ecoEnquirer, is that the wife of the Popsicle activist thought he was referring to chili, the food. Every liberal worth his salt knows that the new correct pronunciation is now shee-lay, and you must adopt a slight Latin American accent when saying it.

Doolittle's mission ran out of gas? I'm just guessing here.

26 months ago: I think FoxNation is the Fox News version of CNN's iReport - anybody can submit a story or opinion, and if it's something original, somebody from the news division might check it out and possibly publish it on their main site.

26 months ago: To quote the story,

"I couldn't believe what I was seeing", recounted the pilot, Jimmy Dolittle. "There were two snowmobiles with cargo sleds, a tent, and a bright orange rope that had been laid out on the ice, forming the words, 'HELP-COLD'".

26 months ago: Yeah, ok, I get it now. I overlooked it when I read the article. But, hey, thanks. Now I know about James Dolittle's raid on the Japanese mainland, and picked up a few interesting tidbits concerning Japan/China relations during WWII.
