Have fun this weekend: check out
Dragon Age: Origins Awakening.
My friends and I have recently bought Dragon Age Origins, and we're busy hacking our way through primordial evils and slashing through the hearts of cruel tormentors. Not a bad way to spend weekend indoors.
Set in a world full of magic, swords, and dungeons, Dragon Age Origins Awakening will give you a thrill as you hack down the forces of darkness. If you're a geek, you already own a copy of Dragon Age: Origins Awakening and probably all of the Dragon Age Origins DLC.
But for non-players, here's a quick description of Dragon Age: Origins. (Awakening is an add-on that was released two weeks ago. I haven't got it yet.)
Dragon Age: Origins thrusts players deep into a fantasy world with elves, dwarves, and strange beasts. You choose a race and a class, and start your own unique introduction to the game. After encountering enemies, you will encounter Duncan, the leader of a group of courageous warriors known as the Grey Wardens. In Dragon Age: Origins, you will join this group, and battle demonic creatures called Darkspawn.
In Dragon Age Origins Awakening, the Darkspawn have been mostly defeated, but a worse evil has risen – and it's shockingly twisted. Think nightmarish worlds filled with black widows. Yeah.
You can watch the YouTube videos on the let to get an idea what gameplay is like in Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age Origins Awakening. They're awesome, so give them a try.
Official site, where you can learn more about Dragon Age Origins and Awakening is
