You hear it everywhere, and about stuff that you know isn't... yet the fad doesn't seem to be fading... Why? BECAUSE IT'S EPIC !:] EPIC has been way over used, and more than not it is attributed to things that are less than "epic" ...to the point people don't even know what the heck they are saying... but that's what makes it all so epic!?!

I like that... "the deeds and adventures of heroic or legendary figures" ...who doesn't want to be heroic or legendary?
Well to start off 2012 (the last year on the legendary Mayan Calendar) I have decided to launch "Epic Geographic" ...a contest that will take entries from any lens... stills or videos! IF you send a link to an EPIC discovery that you have... we will have a "peoples choice" after all entries are in and sorted.
Something different... you retain ownership of the video clip or photo, all we do is sort and present some of the top pics for a public people's choice award... that's it!
You just might be 2012's Epic Geographic Contest Winner! Epic Tip: IF you send in group pics with your friends as well, you will have twice the chance of being chosen (if a single video/photo from a group is chosen the whole group is awarded the win or place in the top 100). So send in your pics, and team up with a group to send in group entries!
Rules: All entries cannot exceed PG rating, any violent or pornographic entries will be disqualified and may be reported to law enforcement agencies.
Everything is just for fun, no guarantees and no remuneration... only Epic Bragging Rights !:] Make this New Years Resolution to become epic...
