As I was flipping through my background channels this morning, I stumbled upon Ed Begley Jr. appearing on "The Price is Right." Ed is hilarious, and I am very envious of his passion for all things green. His show on the Green Channel, "Living with Ed" is one of my favorites, especially as Ed's wife is a great realist to balance him out.
On "The Price is Right" this morning the show had a green theme, featuring environmentally friendly products including cell phones made of recycled materials, solar charging equipment and a recycling cabinet. Ed showed up at the end during the Product Showcase, and introduced items including an electric bike, a solar powered golf cart and a Toyota Prius hybrid car. Ed brought his enthusiasm with him as well.
You can tell how far this environmental craze is going, even making its way onto a show like the "Price is Right." Way to go Drew Carrey and your team, but the real test will be if you continue to display green items beyond this "Earth Day" themed show. I hope you do, and I hope the audience does their homework in hopes that they can place that winning price tag on the product.
