Here's what happens. You are OF GOD, and doing GOD'S work...so the devil will attack your mind. And somehow try to make you stop. THAT'S his whole and sole purpose is to get YOU to stop what you are doing, do it less, or just do it for an ulterior motive. I don't care how he does it....there are a million ways. But the point is….TO MAKE YOU STOP IT….because YOU are hurting him and his kingdom. BE NOT WEARY IN WELL DOING says the bible….for in due season you will reap IF YOU faint NOT. (Galatians 6:9) He can't MAKE you stop, only attempt to influence you.
When the devil talks to my mind, don't sit there and think or listen to those thoughts. I GET VIOLENT real quick and start PRAISING GOD, or PRAYING....or somehow go help and encourage someone. Every time the devil spoke to JESUS while trying to tempt him, JESUS spoke back "IT IS WRITTEN!" (St. Matthew 4:4) RESPOND LOUDLY AND EMPHATICALLY when the devil tries to mess with your mind. YOU CANNOT LEAVE THAT SEED THERE to bust open and start sprouting.

"Lord ....it's real simple.....when David was down after the enemy stole all his stuff, his wives children, possessions, and his men's family's too.....HE ENCOURAGED HIMSELF (1rst Samuel 30:6) …...LORD GOD, give all under the sound of my voice, ENCOURAGEMENT and let them DO LIKE DAVID, THE WARRIOR AND PRAISER, ENCOURAGE THEMSELVES.
