Daily Blogging Can Lead to Other Opportunities

I have been blogging for approximately two years. Started only part-time and now it has blossomed beyond anything I could have ever imaged. I was recently hired as a part-time reporter for my local newspaper.

Over the recent months, I have been hired as a ghostwriter and completed a web content project. The jobs are all over the internet, but applying for them can be a challenge. Many of the jobs will require bidding but if you are up for the fight, then go for it. I have been quite successful in this area. Many web sites will hire bloggers to write articles such as http://www.constant-content.com/. Their average pay is about $20 per written article. There are restrictions on how many you may write per day. Constant Content will require a written sample as part of the application process.

Demand Studio is another website that asks for a past writing sample. They pay about $15 per article. I have written several successful how-to articles for them. There are also copy editor opportunities too.

Elance.com and Freelance.com have a wealth of available jobs for writers. I landed my first ghost writer job for a company located in the UK. Many of the projects are short-term, but long-term projects are available too. Never give up on making a decent income in writing.

I'm happy that someone is found a way to get through this economy and at the same time doing what they like to do. You sound really happy with it.
