While I realize that this is not a conversation anyone wants to have even in the privacy of your Doctor’s office but it is unavoidable in order to prevent colon cancer.
You might ask yourself how someone of the ripe old age of 42 would know well at the age of 26 was when they first took polyps from my colon which were showing signs of Dysplasia which according my Gaestroenterologist were almost Type A cancer.
During the next year, they had taken a total of about ten polyps out of my colon and to this day, I am now clean and clear of all cancerous growths with no other treatment.
This is of course not a typical outcome but goes to show you how this very uncomfortable procedure and discussion can truly save your life.
I would hope that anyone who is suffering from any type of abdominal discomfort, which is how mine was found, would go and express concerns to your family doctor ASAP.
