We can be Clean, Green, Economical and Environmentally Responsible. New Clean Energy Projects are being announced around the world everyday and in escalating numbers. Some popular ones are Wind, Solar, algae/biofuels and landfill gasses. The biggest power projects that have the most positive impact on the Environment and the Economy are Methane Hydrates, Sour Gas, Clean Coal, Petroleum Refining, Nuclear and Electric Vehicle in that order. The clean technologies that make this possible are in late stages of development, some have been proven in pilot plants.

In trying to put everything in perspective I offer this Quote from http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/09276/1002685-28.stm#ixzz0StyJiwUR Mr. DeIuliis "challenged the view that such emissions threaten the planet. Comparing the earth's atmosphere to a 55-gallon drum, he said the increase in atmospheric carbon in the past 250 years would be the equivalent of four teaspoons, less than one of which was added by humans." Even if this comparison is grossly flawed, I think that we all can agree that we are talking small percentages. Even if all man made carbon dioxide emissions were stopped today it has been estimated that it would take 1,000 years for the CO2 to naturally return to pre 1900 levels.

That said, What is the most Environmentally and Economically responsible projects? What will replace Fossil energy?

32 months ago: Is that a picture of cypress trees? Why don't we consider CO2 recycling? Let's just suck it out of the atmosphere and pump it back into the ground. That is where all of the ECO-NUTS think it cam from. Question. All of that stored CO2 is natural, right? Never been in the ECO before? Right?
32 months ago: Hey TCG, Most of that CO2 is "Naturally" in fossil fuels or a byproduct of combustion.

Recycling it? that is what the Swapsol processes are about! I do NOT think that it is a good idea to pump CO2 into the ground. For one thing no one can say with certainty that it will stay there.
32 months ago: The picture? I shot it at a near by swamp. Don't know what species are in the picture but there could be some cypress.
32 months ago: LOL Cypress are you hidding somewhere in the swamp?
32 months ago: AND fossils come from where?

32 months ago: Jon, want to have some fun? You answer the questions on the other post of the day and I'll answer the questions on this one.

Let's Rock! Looks like everyone has a venue today! Both sides. I'm still waiting on the correct answer to the origins of fossil fuel. All of that CO2 we are extracting from "Mother Earth" came from where?
32 months ago: Are you ever going to come back with a comment TCG? Or do I have to comment for both of us?
32 months ago: My venue is plain to see. I just want to get this ball rollin. So we all can benefit. The Stenger Wasas Processes will benefit every living being now and for the rest of time! Both the Environmental and the Economical side is astronomical.
32 months ago: I was waiting for the left to chime in.
