The field is called "Eagle Ford".
Further rubbing salt into the wound, Eagle Ford could increase the United States of America's oil output by 25%, and drastically lesson our dependence on oil from Banana Republic socialist dictators.
Bummer.
"Big Oil" believes Eagle Ford will "hold two or three times as much oil as Prudhoe Bay"
And the dang oil field is in Texas too boot! We can't use our "Nemo" picture to fight this!

A previously "impoverished" section of Texas has experienced an economic explosion. It's near the Mexican border. Baron land owners have been paid millions to buy mineral rights.
These ignert people. One land owner has even gone and purchased a new gas gussling PICKUP TRUCK with his ill gotten gains!
"Oil money just makes life easier."
We have to figure out what to do about this. I know what we do about it.
Let's just move the time forward where we cede that part of Texas to Mexico!
