Alright all you rantrave.com liberals and socialists...er...and progressives, (I separated those labels because some of you guys don't like being called "socialists"), if you will humor me, let's play a game.

I understand from one of my "1 track conservative emails" (as Heynoni used to label it) Fox News is doing an expose on our wonderful President.

It's on this Sunday at 9:00 pm eastern.

This is going to be the "ugly beans" on our President.

I want to know from Al, Siempre and the rest of you guys your thoughts on how bad a guy this Obama is. So, Sunday evening 9:00 EST, and 8:00 CST, will you watch it?

Obama is deliberately selling our country down the road to Totalitarian Socialism, and I want to know if you liberal guys really support this.

In return, I'll agree to watch whatever you want me to watch, except watching that show "Dancing with the Politicians" or whatever it is called. (I won't watch MTV, or Entertainment TV or Ellen Degenerate either....unless you insist.)

Are you guys game?

America deserves Obama.
The sooner we all swallow that bitter pill and ask why do we love style over substance, in almost every venue, we may at least be able to come to some sort of personal epiphany for our own soul's benefit.

23 months ago: I have to disagree. America as a whole doesn't deserve Obama, any more than Uganda deserved Idi Amin. A few people with mal-intent played on the good natures of a lot more people, who in turn were duped into electing a potential tyrant.

They made a mistake, because they have been conditioned over the past six decades to believe what was brought into their homes via the televisin. No, I didn't misspell that.

23 months ago: I'm afraid that this time we are being set at each other, by a puppetmaster that is controlling the strings of both side of the argument. The outcome cannot be the same as it was.
23 months ago: I could be wrong, but I imagine even the most industrious among us, the most calvinistic in enterprise and outlook may be a bit more self indulgent than need be.
Do I mean I have any right to set limits on what folks do with what is their own? Of course not...besides, I am just a man losing an occasional tooth.
What I do mean is that we have bought, to some extent, the lie that because a thing can be done...it should be done...and is therefore, benign.
Maybe you have had your personal epiphany, and you are not fooled by smooth words and empty promises.
How is that taught?

23 months ago: Alas, you are correct. The flesh is weak, howe'er willing the spirit. But pride, a sin in some cases, and a virtue in others, would prevent a man from demanding that which is not rightfully his.

I believe the spirit of confusion has descended, as in ancient Egypt, where men make decisions based on foolishness, and stagger about in their own vomit. I can't teach anyone anything, people only learn when their eyes are opened to the truth.

22 months ago: Redstateguy, I have an alternate challenge for you. Please define, without looking in a dictionary or doing a Google search, each of the following words:

* Totalitarian
* Socialism
* Liberalism
* Progressivism
* Communism
* Fascism

Do you know what each word means? You use them interchangeably, but that could only be because you're not familiar with their vastly different definitions.
