You worked so hard to build a perfect bracket. But now it's shot. Nobody could have predicted all the upsets, right? The odds of picking a perfect sweet 16 bracket are about one in 13,460,000, according to one betting site.

But a 17-year-old autistic teenager named Alex Hermann has apparently beaten the odds. According to CBS, he has correctly predicted every matchup in the 2010 NCAA tournament. (Click on the picture on the left to see Alex's perfect bracket.)

It's mean to criticize, but I don't buy the story. It's too convenient that Alex didn't enter his perfect bracket into a site that pays out a prize. From NBC Chicago:

He entered one of three bracket games offered by CBS -- the only one without a prize attached. Alex's basketball knowledge could have been worth a fortune. One of the other CBS games offers a prize of $5,000 per round. Other sites offer even more money -- Yahoo offers $1 million for a perfect bracket; SportsBook.com offers $13 million…

CBSSports.com cannot confirm Alex's entry -- the company doesn't track entries to their Bracket Manager program. Unlike CBSSports' Bracket Challenge, which ranks players nationally and locks entries once the tournament begins, Bracket Challenge does allow changes after play starts.

If you still want to get some perfect bracket action, you can sign up at SportsBook.com and make some cash. They have a promotion running that could net you $5,000. The site calls their Sweet 16 Perfect 2010 March Madness Bracket Contest a "second chance to fill out a perfect bracket. Good luck!
