While people celebrate that passing of the Health Care legislation their celebration will be short lived after grasping the reality States are moving to reinstate their sovereignty and in some cases threatening to sue the Federal Government. It is good to see the wheels of this Republic churn the way our forefathers intended it to work.

Washington Post Reported ...

BOISE, Idaho -- Idaho is leading the charge in a states-rights push to defeat a proposal in Congress that would require people to buy health insurance, a key piece of reforms being pushed by President Barack Obama.

Republican Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter used a ceremony Wednesday afternoon to become the first governor to sign into law a measure requiring the state attorney general to sue the federal government over any such insurance mandates.

There's similar legislation pending in 37 other states, a point Otter stressed when asked if the bill he signed can succeed, given constitutional law experts are already saying federal laws would supersede those of states in a U.S. District Court fight.

Here are just a few references of which states are fighting the Unconstitutional Law...

"Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum is taking the lead and is joined by attorneys general from South Carolina, Nebraska, Texas, Michigan, Utah, Pennsylvania, Alabama, South Dakota, Idaho, Washington, Colorado and Louisiana.

"State Sen. Dan Gelber (Florida), a Democrat running for McCollum's job, said the lawsuit is nothing more than a stunt to gain political points as McCollum runs for governor.

"It is rank politics and nothing but," said Gelber, noting that 4 million Floridians don't have health insurance. "He spends no time talking about what he would do as governor about that, but he seems to have an inordinate amount of time to jump up on a soap box and start demagoguing on the issue."

Yep, the sparks will be a flyin' but as Florida is a tweener state, be interesting to see how it plays out.

That is one hell of a risky stunt as they propose. It is a career gamble.
