I am proud to say that this will be my first post on Rant Rave. I've been a member for only a couple of months but I really just didn't know what to say, until the other day. As I've grown up and matured, I have become a very safe defensive driver. Especially since gas has gone up in price, I try keep the foot off the gas pedal.
Now my Rant is why do people get so upset when "they" make a mistake on the road. For example, people seem to never check their blind spot. So in stead of letting them hit me or slamming on my brakes and make someone rear end me, I just apply my horn. I don't even over use my horn to where it gets annoying. Just a tap or two.
Now what gets me is people give me the evil eye, curse me out, give me the finger. Lol, I'm like, What? You almost hit me and you want to give me the evil eye. I just don't get it and it happens all the time. Someone could be running a stop sign and then get mad at me because I'm in his/her way. Or my favorite, when it's rush hour and when there is a green light BUT there are so many cars on the road you can't continue forward. Now the smart thing to do is to wait so you don't block traffic going the other way when their light turns green. But of course, the person behind me thinks it's best to inch forward knowing that we are not going to go anywhere.
I don't know guys and gals. Sometimes I think it's better to live out in the country where there is less traffic on the road. Road rage nowadays is crazy!
