I am an unemployed 99r that was cut off from unemployment, I have severe arthritis (cant open bottles, jars, Gatorade, write, repetitively type or lift over 20 lbs), Cant get on disability due to my age despite being unable to do these tasks for over 15 years. Whats the problem? I want to work and apply for jobs every day. Well here in Arizona, especially here in Tuscon its the Mexicans, more appropriately its the illegal immigrants, that's what we call Mexicans out here, nationals who steal our jobs and send all their money back to Mexico. So do I hate Hispanics, no, they work for our country and the solidarity of our people, in fact i know 35 Hispanics and 20 of them are illegal, none of the legal Hispanics have jobs but every illegal does, maybe only working at AAA landscaping but it is still a job.
Obviously I am white and only 1 out of the 10 white people i know have jobs. To compound this situation my neighbor is an illegal immigrant, has 6 kids in a 1 bedroom apt, gets food, welfare, etc, takes the money and buys coke with it, and has her kids deal it down the block. when I went to get food stamps pablo that was working behind the counter responded with "your white you dont need food stamps" and I was denied; allegedly I made too much money on unemployment, I guess 500 a month is too much. So now that my unemployment has been cut off I go for emergency food stamps, and actually get it, when my card comes in the mail the balance is $0.00. So i am stuck for 10 days with no food or money. Also I have been living in an apartment with no electricity for 3 months in the 110 degree heat and i have had no gas for 2.5 years, so no hot showers or cooking food for me and i am denied at the urban league, "you do not have sustained unemployment " they say, yet the give every mexican that applies subsidies on electrical, gas, rent you name it.
I have applied to over 6500 jobs (yes i do have documentation) and they never hire me, yet when i go to the business to demand an answer the new mexican worker there is rude as hell to me. its not my fault I am disabled, but employers will not hire me due to it, I was actually fired from a company called giacomos for being too slow, he told me he was closing down for the month, but i went by and he was open, and the new mexican was working my position, so i confronted him about it, he tried to blame me saying i was too slow to wash dishes, wtf. The reality was i was the only white worker there and couldn't speak spanish, so he found a spanish speaker. fired for being a whitey with disabilities.
I then decided to apply for disability, i am referred to a place called concerta, the refried doctor they send me to cant even understand me and needed an interpreter, i told him i had tfcc tears so he did a x ray and told disability , i am fine. so denied again. Doctor was too incompetent to even understand this is a serious injury and that i tear my wrist joints at the drop of a hat. I called a lawyer and they told me "get a ****ing job lame **** and call me back when your 50 maybe then we can help you".
So looking forward to being homeless and disabled, in my country. land of the free if you are the right race and vote for the right dictator.

I am not raciest but with companies going overseas and hiring illegals and every non american, makes me very prejudiced, it must be my race, the american race, that no one wants.

Since you can't get anything done there, have you considered moving to other states/cities/ locations where the officials may be more reasonable?

You will be glad to know that the Arizona anti immigration law has caused thousands of both legal and illegal Mexicans to leave the State. This should make it easier for people like yourself to get jobs if you are willing to work for a few bucks an hour and if you work hard and fast like they do.

You will also be glad to know that the influx of illegal Mexicans has stopped, because of the bad work environment here, and because things are more hopeful in Mexico. In fact more Mexicans may be leaving then entering the country. http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/illegal...

The Agency I referred him to I don't think he contacted. They pretty much operate the same all over the Country.
They work with Easter Seals that will get you work instantly if you are disabled.

Have you considered going back to school to learn a skill or new trade that doesn't require physical activity? You can't expect people to hire you in menial work jobs if they can hire people to work harder and faster cheaper.

Mithereal......Each State has a Disability Vocational Rehabilitation Center that helps people out when you have that kind of a disability. They find work for you that you can do and they pay for schooling. I don't know how Arizona works but every State has it. Check with your local office.
I copied this from that resource:
Local Resources for Employment of People With Disabilities in Arizona
Arizona Business Leadership Network Information
The mission of the BLN is to "engage the active participation of the business community to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to obtain work and succeed in the workplace."

if the doctor cannot understand my language which is english, how is he supposed to understand the nature of my injury. I have had arthroscopic surgery, splints, casts etc, it is a fairly simple injury, to a lesser degree a hand sprain just more severe. The cartilage and ligaments composing the TFCC are prone to degeneration and tearing, and i have a degenerative joint disease in my left hand; They do not have a good blood supply and therefore, injuries do not heal well. he even told the disability office that i had no symptoms, even though my hand clicks when he examined me. remember i really dont want to be on disibility i would rather make real money vs govt welfare as i used to design and fabricate motorcycles

9 months ago: You need a medical report to get Vocational Rehabilitation. They can get you schooling or a job through their agency. Disability Rehab is not hard to get if you feel you can work again. Designing and fabricating motorcycles is a real skill.
But I see that you have a degenerative condition that might prevent you from working. I realize you would have to get the Social Security Disability to get you back to some stability.
It is very unfair to people who have disabilities because no one makes it easy fight, and it is an exhausting battle even for someone who is half-way healthy.
Perhaps you can check into a hospital for their medical evaluation so you get a solid medical report. No one can lie about those medical records. I know that if you get hurt at work, the companys insurance doctors are totally against you and will say anything not to pay. But, of course, as my suggestion, you probably have been in the hospital as you know all the diagnosis medical assessments. A good lawyer is your best bet as you said.

Welcome to Club 99er - no food, no clothes, no shelter required.

I'd like to know why President Obombasta won't end the wars in the middle east, and instead have our troops build and guard walls dividing the United States from Mexico and Canada.

Coordinates and provides counseling, evaluation, and job placement services for people with disabilities
All you need is a medical record. If any of those complaints are on a report, than you have the right to contact these people. It is worth a try whether you have been down that road before or not.
