Health laws obscure, common traits most young children will be able to stay on their parents insurance until they are 26 this is the federal health care reform some got to experience this at a meeting that was held Monday and adults with pre -existing conditions and alot of employers are either paying a amount and the employers are paying part of the health insurance and a analyst and a consumer advocate told its audience that the components of health care reform some might have already went into effect and also things to come some insurance plans have been godfather and won't be required to implement all of the changes until full reform goes into effect Jan'1 2014 but for the plans that are not god fathered here are some changes that have already been made as of Oct 2010 insurance companies cannot deny children coverage due to pre-existing conditions as a result some insurance companies said they wouldn't insure kids at all the state insurance commissioner said he prohibited the action as of Sept 23,2010 children can remain on their parents insurance til 26 years of age any parent can put a adult child on their insurance at the time their insurance has open enrollment your plan insurance when your in surance has a renewal and this is only if the child doesn't have other insurance now the adults with serious pre-existing conditions can join the state pre-existing insurance pool and wait for the information to be compiled up to see where you fit in.

10 months ago: These are just a few of the benefits of the Affordable Care Act. 90% of the benefits come in 2014.

Unless the Republicans have their way and kill the program and turn our health back over to the Insurance companies who even with 30% profits spend an additional 30% trying to find new ways to deny people service. If not for the affordable care act the insurance companies would deny service to fully 1/3rd to 1/2 of the country. http://www.healthcare.gov/center/reports...

The conservative health care plan is to throw one third of the country out into the street with no care at all.
