ever ordered a drink at a restaruant or buy a bottle at store and been refused the sale.... I have. Its ridiculous that the few affect the policies of the many but so goes the standard in america.
I am nearly thirty and many times have had to rely on a 21 or 22 year old friend to buy a bottle. I though that the purpose of and id was to show your age and picture?. since when does experation date change this information.
Also when I am at the grocery store and I am buying food with my wife and three daughters and the cashier cards me and my wife and my wife didnt bring her pocket book what then..... Policy says both must have id though we are married.
recently I was at wal mart and I ran into a friend we chatted and then went our separate ways. at the registar I was asked for my id though I had no alcohol I asked why and was told that I was with my friend and therefore needed to be carded I refused and that was that. what gave them that right. and secondly what the heck is with this second guessing an id if it says 21 and has a picture let it go

29 months ago: I was in a bar/restaurant at Orlando International Airport, and they carded everybody no matter what; a few of the Senior Citizens were flattered (if not amused) that they had to prove they were 21.
29 months ago: I dont mind being carded and hey being a bar tender for a couple years I understand that it is there job. my problem is with the cowboys. like the wal employee that felt it necessary to card me for my friends beer in a separate isle. I mean its a job not a life. and it really come down to I am 21 and I want that right but it is becoming ever more difficult to just be a good citizen. its is only the good that suffer with these over bearing and arbitrary rules. education fixes problems not enforcement.
